  1. I enjoyed it very much. This and Marry Me are my favorite pilots this year. ABC owns the show and I believe if they could pick up the sadly struggled-rated Trophy Wife for a full season last year, there's a way that ABC will pick up Black-ish for Full season.

  5. This was surprisingly pretty good, a little bit rough around the edges but good enough to keep watching.

  6. It was ok...not bad for a thirty minute comedy...

  7. I liked it, thought it was funny in pieces so I think I will continue watching. I usually don't like these types of comedies but this was a good Pilot.

  8. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was fun. There were some concepts I identified with...a couple of spots where they hit the joke a little to hard (IMHO) because it was the pilot and they had to make sure they got the point across.

  9. I did not like this pilot very much. The whole "black" issue that was funny ten years ago with Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence just is not AS funny anymore because it has already been done. The episode takes a while to get moving. The laughs were few and far between. However, the last five minutes of the show showed enough promise to warrant me watching the next episode. Overall, this pilot just fell flat for me.

  10. I thought it was very funny, so I'll definitely be watching it for now. I'm also glad to see that the ratings were also very good.

So... I'm sorry, but it did feel a little... weak.
    Spoilery thoughts:
So, the guy complains about other people doing what he considers black, and his children doing what he considers not black, while getting frustrated and angry when people assume he'll act like what they consider black, and he just cool down when his kid says he likes basketball (which is considered black) and wants to get some boobs which is... Who knows.
ll that without mentioning that when he talks about the whole "black colleagues being almost family" they are the security guy, the receptionist, the janitors and the office boy, which for me is just damn right racist.
The pity is... they have a great cast, if they can just drop the whole concept and insert the "black" questioning in a more real and dosed way, than we could have an amazing comedy show around a familly who just happens to be black.
Honestly... Right now they just bringing back the whole "hey he's black, he likes butts, boobs, hip hop and basketball, haha, go bro!"it's stereotypical in its most and I didn't like at all!
