In the Pilot, Frank saw someone (Jamie) on the street staring up a window to Claire. He thought it was a ghost but I guess he now thinks that's the man who captured Claire. The reason to this mystery is still a few books/seasons ahead. We have to wait a long time to find out or the writers have something up their sleeves:)
Great video!! I love the books and Ron Moore, Sam and Caitriona and all the other actors, costume designers, production team etc. have done such an amazing job making the stories come alive!!
I just finished the fourth book and am about to start The Fiery Cross, but I don't remember Diana answering this in any of the previous books. I always wondered about the mysterious figure from the first book. What book answers this reason?
My friend who is also a great fan of the books told me that it was "A Breath of Snow and Ashes". I got lost in The Fiery Cross years ago and I am just about to reread them all again.
DG said in an interview (I think last year) that the answer to this mystery will finally be revealed in the last scene (more an epilog) of the last book. This scene she wrote about 10 years ago. I can't remember reading about it in "A Breath of Snow an Ashes", but it's a long time since I read it.
As tempting as that sounds I think I'll hold off but thank you so much for offering to explain to me :) I'm thinking about reading the first book during this break to catch me up.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Can't believe the mid season finale is nearly upon us, I'm going to miss this show.
ReplyDeleteSorry it took a while for the upload, no one was posting this :(
No excuse needed, thank you for the upload!
ReplyDeleteYour very welcome :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. I always feel like I've missed something when I watch them after the ep.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome :)
ReplyDeleteWow, what a promo! Makes me sad that there is only one episode left!
ReplyDeleteThe midseason finale is here :(. Btw I cant wait to find how in 1940's they have got Jamie sketched? Does that mean Jamie can time travel too? :O

Oh...Thanks.I guess we are not finding about this mystery anytime soon :)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping there'll be a lot of Jamie/Claire next episode. And it looks angsty so definitely here for that.

ReplyDeleteThis has been one of the stand out shows of the season!

ReplyDeleteWould you happen to know when the season starts up again?

Thank you. Good to know :)
ReplyDeleteThere is no exact date, but they said it will be back in early 2015. Hopefully January. *fingerscrossed*
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. No wonder I haven't been able to find the info. Hope I can last until then! :)
ReplyDeleteI always felt that it was a flaw of the books that only Claire time traveled and not Jamie. I can't wait to see what the show has in store for us.
