ReplyDeleteGotta say, it's really cool how each actor tweeted the poster that features his or her character's signature object.
ReplyDeleteThey're pulling out all the stops with promotion this season... they must be banking on the Frozen connection to give the ratings a boost. Hence the use of the word "Frozen" in every single piece of promotional material.
Rating wer growing since season 3b so "relax, take eaaaaasy".

ReplyDeleteJust hit the halfway point of season 3. The "good" side seems to be less than intelligent. My wife and I both agree on this. They do silly things that complicate their lives unnecessarily. I guess that makes us #teamRegina.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way they wrapped up the Pan arc, but it might have been 3 episodes too long. Then there was the whole "the curse is coming thing". First there was urgency, then there was none. I felt like the crowd of people urging the narrator on a he's discussing Scene 24 from Monty Python's Holy Grail. "GET ON WITH IT!!!"
I trust the back half of season 3 picks up a bit?
ABC seems very high about OUAT new season ... I guess they expect the ratings to be much, much higher. Maybe a return to over 3.0 or 4.0, like the first half of S1?

ReplyDelete4.0 seems unlikely but i think with all the promo and the hype for frozen (plus it's a season premiere so it's usually higher) it may get a 3.0 x)
ReplyDeleteYa I just meant their initial season 3 launch with both the big promotional posters and character promo pics. Some of the banners and pre-season Believe posters were fine.

The second half of season 3 was definitely better than the first half IMHO. However, that may also be because I really like Oz stories and the main antagonist is The Wicked Witch of the West. ;)

ReplyDeleteIt basically returned to its roots and was pretty good at it. True it was a bit flawed, but was good. IMO, it all led to a top notch finale
True, ratings did return pretty good in 3b, and remained very stable and strong. Kind of sad for ressurection, since abc planned that show to dominate and not the other way lol for spring. But yeah the ratings should be rly strong, minus the loud frozen haters that u see once in a while.
ReplyDeleteAs if on cue, the next two episodes after the Pan arc - when they basically hit a huge reset button, have been the most interesting two episodes of the season for me.
ReplyDeleteLol when the wicked arc started I was kind of like "wtf, this is so much more entertaining, it's only been two episodes and it beats neverland in a landslide." But yeah despite a few flaws, the arc maintained strong and agreed that finale was great.
