TVLine has learned exclusively that Michael Stahl-David — whose credits include a co-starring role in JJ Abrams’ monster pic Cloverfield as well as stints on CBS’ Person of Interest and ABC’s short-lived My Generation — is the latest hottie to romance Zooey Deschanel’s title character.
He’ll play a handsome and normal new guy Jess dates who she’s hoping will be cool with her unorthodox domestic situation — i.e. she’s living with her ex. Stahl-David’s one-episode guest appearance is slated to air in November.
