MOVIES: Terminator Trilogy - Release Dates

Paramount Pictures is pushing ahead with the second and third installments in its rebooted Terminator franchise, which kicks off next summer with Terminator: Genisys on July 1 2015.

Terminator 2 has been dated for May 19, 2017, followed by Terminator 3 on June 29, 2018. The two films will be filmed back to back, provided Genisys works, according to insiders.

Paramount is partnering with Skydance Productions on the trilogy. Alan Taylor is directing Genisys, which returns Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title role. Newcomers include Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke and Jai Courtney.

    Love the Terminator series. Hopefully this reboot does it justice, but any time we can get more Emilia Clarke is a good thing in my mind.

    nice, loved the olde quadrilogy (YES that includes Salvation, it was a rock solid action flick nothing more and nothing less).
    As long as Schwarzenegger returns I'm into it

    given that playing Danyeris requires her to go over the top I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.


    Maybe they solve it like they did for Schwarzenegger, he's a complete overactor but they gave him the most emotionless character in cinematic history and thus they found a solid balance for his performance.
