Following the successful box office opening of YA film adaptation The Maze Runner, 20th Century Fox has quickly set a date for the sequel.

I will watch the first part next weekend, heard nice things about it.
ReplyDeletenext year wow, usually a movie's sequel comes out like 3 years after so that's pretty awesome
ReplyDeleteI've heard that the first half of the movie is really good, but declines in the latter half which feels like all it's doing at that point is setting up the sequel but still is a decent watch... I'll still probably see it, though
ReplyDeleteI saw it yesterday (I live in the Netherlands), great movie!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Gonna go see the first part next weekend probably, gonna try to read the book first. My roommate has sat here on the couch beside me and has read nearly half the book in a few hours so I should get to start it soon and it must be pretty good. :D Anyway, I do hope the rushed production won't interfere with the quality of this sequel, that would be unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteI read the book and it's pretty good, and I heard from people who have read it too that's the movie it's pretty good too. Also, it doesn't hurt looking at the beautiful Kaya Scodelario for two hours.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I thought the movie was fantastic! Kept true to the book to an extent (some things were different) but the changes fit. I think it was more exciting, creative, and intense than a lot of movies in the YA book to movie saga going on. Better than the Percy Jacksons, Mortal Instruments, and better than the first Hunger Games movie. Again this is just my opinion, but The Maze Runner is simply (forgive the pun) A-MAZE-ING!
