Sara Rue will recur in Season 2 of the CBS comedy as the girlfriend of Matt Jones’ Baxter, TVLine has learned exclusively.
While Baxter lives in a van, Rue’s Candace is smart, successful and has her life very together. Additionally, Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) will appear in Rue’s first episode as Jack, a tenant in the new apartment building that Bonnie (Allison Janney) and Christy (Anna Faris) move into.
