Yeah, I was expecting a clever solution, not this. He earlier said, that as of 2030, he has not found out. And now he remembers in 2013? Is that a joke? And moreover, this whole remembering story is really silly. "Oh I see a pineapple, oh now I remember seeing and taking one earlier as well."
Very...whelming. Not under, not over. But how exciting could it have REALLY been, especially with being hyped up for so long. I'm glad they cut it though, it lends more to me to have it remain a mystery as it does in the actual series.
The more distance between me and this series, the more irritated I get when I see this kind of stuff! I'm sure it's a convo I need to have with my therapist but ever since the finale, I find myself grinding my teeth every time I see something associated with this show! Thanks for listening, I feel much better and I saved a whole lot of $$.
I always thought that the mystery will be solved, but only to the audience, and not to the characters, in keeping with what Ted tells his kids. Like, a scene ends, all the main characters go off, and the shot still lingers on, and somebody says something, or we see something, that resolves the mystery somehow, to the audience.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Well that was a disappointment, I'd rather have not known.
ReplyDeleteThat was stupid and Ted also told the kids they never found out where it came from. So you know, keep on screwing that up.

I believe so, and that's likely why they cut it.

ReplyDeleteExactly. Because Ted, you know, doesn't know. Or wasn't supposed to, damn.
ReplyDeleteAs stupid as the finale!
