Game of Thrones - Season 5 - Bran will be in Season 5
5 Sept 2014
Game of ThronesThanks to anon for the following.
Recently we reported on an interview with Kristin Nairn (Hodor) saying he won't be in Game of Thrones season 5. Despite that, Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran) said he will appear in Season 5.
The video below is an interview with Isaac Hempstead-Wright promoting a movie (The Boxtrolls). At the end of the video (skip to 5:50), when asked what he's going to do next he answers the next season of Game of Thrones (and school).
So, it appears that when Kristin Nairn said "We have a season off", that "we" doesn't include Isaac Hempstead-Wright.

Like I thought, Nairn was having fun with the interviewer and audience or using the royal "we".
ReplyDeleteHe is really nice

ReplyDeleteI don't think Kristin Nairn was using the royal "we", my guess is that "we" means himself (Hodor) and the actress that plays Meera.
ReplyDeleteCould very well be.
ReplyDeleteI think I mentioned that in the first post about Hodor not appearing... I forget.
All I know is that I have heard from various sources Leaf will be back, Bran will have new scenes and scenes already filmed - possibly including one filmed last year and one filmed for Season 1 with Sean Bean. So far this person's info has been quite accurate, but I never put full faith in anything I do not see for myself or see proof of I guess.
Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteFalse hope of those hoping Bran will not appear in Season 5 or of those hoping he will appear in Season 5? XD
Ok that makes more sense!
ReplyDeletedamn, I was hoping for season 5 to cut some corners. I know GoT is hyped up as 'the best show on earth' but as much as I enjoy it I can't see the warrant for 'best' anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe show is having INCREDIBLY slow moments and has storylines that make the whole experience less enjoyable and more of a chore.
Brans storyline is one of these issues, not only is it incredibly long and stretched but also it's atmosphere-less. CGI, locations and camera movements don't create atmosphere of their own. The actors do a big part at that as well. But especially their storyline has always suffered from poor performances (I know Hodor is a pop-culture phenomenon but c'mon.....). If it's Wrights monotone pitch that feels like he's portraying a white walker or the confused look Jojens actor gave us every second. It always felt like we jumped out of a fantasy show to a badly dubbed german 70s show.
Cutting out their parts or at least limiting their appearances to 3 episodes to give their arc a quicker pace would certainly have helped.
I´m happy, really like Bran and that arc =)
ReplyDeleteHe will im telling you but probably not much
ReplyDeleteLol you're a moron since Bran did in fact have 4 episodes last season
ReplyDeletesaid the idiot that calls others morons?
ReplyDeleteSo what if he had 4 episodes?
Still 3 episodes too many
