Good for Forever and AoS :)
ReplyDeleteSeeing that 2.1 for SHIELD made me breathe a huge sigh of relief. Knew it was going to get adjusted up.
ReplyDeleteYes for Forever! Did better than its pilot!
ReplyDeleteSo happy that AoS adjusted up and crossed the 2s.
ReplyDeleteSurprised that Forever rose from yesterdays ratings. Looks like ABC is doing something right this year.
Wow so Forever actually beat POI? I am little bit proud!
ReplyDeleteGlad that AoS and Forever rose from before. But I definitely don't like seeing Person Of Interest with such ratings.
ReplyDeleteI'm on fire with my predictions! I knew AoS would do a 2.1 in the end!
ReplyDeleteAnd woah Forever! It seems like this show is going to stick
Woohoo! Go AoS! This is definitely reassuring, although I'm still a bit worried about Supernatural chipping at its numbers a bit when it returns.
ReplyDeleteYay Agents of Shield! I feel a lot better!
ReplyDeleteForever beat POI? FFS.
ReplyDeleteSomeone on twitter said Forever can be ABC's new Castle...basically a utility player on the schedule :)
ReplyDeleteEh, doubt it.
ReplyDeleteOkay so Faking It didn't do to bad in the ratings despite pissing off a bunch of it's fan base with the Amy and Liam hookup.
ReplyDeleteIt actually had the highest rating since the premiere.
ReplyDeleteGood for AoS. Love that show.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that forever actually rose from it's premiere numbers and beat good old POI!! Glad AoS at least hit 2's for their premiere,i feared they wouldn't for this entire season!
ReplyDeleteWell Castle is on it's 7th season so...
ReplyDeleteAnd started off with way better ratings.
ReplyDelete..almost 6 years ago.Gun smoke violation rule.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't comparing, 'm just saying that I don't see it lasting years with that rating.
ReplyDeleteOn this,i can definitely agree. For now,i like the show but who says what will happen in the long run!
ReplyDeleteForever 1.8? WTF Chicago Fire 2.7? Hell, definitely I do not understand people of USA
ReplyDeleteI think if ABC doesn't yank "Forever" from the lineup, it will continue to improve in the ratings after people discover it. The show is a delightful breath of fresh air. I loved it!
ReplyDelete"NCIS: New Orleans" is just "NCIS" in a different city. Same old story lines with the same old themes and outcomes.
ReplyDeleteMy God, how POI had such ratings? Yesterday was amazing!
ReplyDeleteYay for AoS!!!!
ReplyDeletegood for forever and agents of shield
ReplyDeleteAnd that definition would be different from NCIS:LA, how?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the first episode of NCIS: New Orleans. It's not the same characters or actors, which is a nice change. "Corrupt politicians" isn't a very common theme or outcome in either NCIS or NCIS:LA as far as I am aware.
I am really surprised by Forevers rating in the A18-34 demo:
ReplyDeleteMARVEL AGENTS SHIELD 1.6/6
FOREVER 1.5/5
NCIS 1.7/7
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS 1.5/5
PERSON OF INTEREST 1.0/4
CHICAGO FIRE 1.8/7
NEW GIRL 1.3/5
THE MINDY PROJECT 0.9/3
happy for shield tho i think it's gonna be the show's last year lol
ReplyDeleteThose Chicgao Fire numbers are insane!
ReplyDeleteAoS was in the 1.8-2.2 for, like, the entire second half of last season. Now it's returning with the same numbers. Not seeing any reason for it to be "curtains" for the show any time soon, especially considering the better schedule it will have this year (airing in two uninterrupted blocks of episodes) and the fact that Disney owns ABC.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think it's gonna be AoS's last year?
ReplyDeleteI see it dropping below that average and if they go the serialized route (which the should for the sake of quality) then it will drop even more. It may be safe for this season but it getting a forth may be a stretch even for ABC
ReplyDeleteIts also wining its time slot in the male 18-34 & 18-49 demo. This is one of the key reasons it is important for ABC.
ReplyDeleteGood for Forever, I know there are a lot of shows similar to this, but I don't watch any. I need some sci-fi so I can get hooked. And I think this is a really good show interesting enough to keep me around and the cast is very likeable nothing really for haters to be hating about so I think the good word of mouth will help the show, more and more people will find this show enjoyable enough to stick around.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome to hear thanks :)
ReplyDeleteIt was already getting much more serialized in the second half of Season 1 and the ratings remained more or less stable. I don't see a reason for concern. Ultimately, the numbers may not be great but it's still one of ABC's better-performing shows. Also, it has more potential to grow than most shows given that it's part of the MCU which has continued buzz around it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a certain spike late in the season, as Marvel's well-oiled marketing machine kicks the Age of Ultron promotion into high gear.
ReplyDeleteIn a couple of weeks AoS will be against Supernatural. I think this will hurt both shows as most of the people I know watch both and will have to decide which to watch live and which to DVR. Really wish they weren't against each other.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you're right. It's been a while since I've been this into a show and even longer since I've been this into a show that airs on network television instead of cable. I really hope ABC gives it a chance.
ReplyDeleteOh come on, Person of Interest. :/ You deserve better
ReplyDeleteWell, awkward is doing fine!
