I keep wondering if the writing the Doctor is doing on the chalkboards has any deeper meaning.
ReplyDeleteThe director of the final tweeted something which I think may tie in with the blackboard, if you'd like to hear the teaser that she said?
ReplyDeleteThis seems to make sense to me, I found it odd that the Doctor hasn't mentioned Gallifrey and how the Time Lords are definitely out there so my own theory was that he is secretly working on finding them out and that the 'promised land' is all linked to it.
ReplyDelete!!! I love all these theories.
ReplyDeleteI like that the new opening credits are in some way an Easter Egg of sorts :)
ReplyDeleteI've had a bit more spare time on my hands today so have had a better look at the credits and done some screen capping. All the planets orbit around the screen apart from one, which flickers in and out of view twice instead. Well I think it's the same planet though I suppose it could be two different ones. The first 2 caps show them, I've drawn a ring around them, the second time it appears it is very faint.
ReplyDeleteThe next screen cap is the Promised Land picture from Robot of Sherwood, which looks like it's a lot redder than the mysterious one in the credits, but I guess could pass for it at a push. I have to say that it reminds me more of Gallifrey from the 50th though, which is where the 4th photo is from :o
