I still see just a combination of promo shots and shots from last season. What is with the obsession with heroes? I get it when it comes to the comic book shows, but most of the shows don't have that theme.
They just pieced last year's clips together with some of the new episodes scenes!Elijah is throwing rose petals..WTH! Last year's promo was so innivative, this year's is just lame & boring IMO!
If they follow a subplot in the original show then Jane is deemed a 'hero' by some overly religious people (because of the whole immaculate conception thing).
hmm but they were forced to do it, to me The 100 is more a story of survival (with a good moral), than a heroical one. But whatever!!, the important thing here is that the show is being promoted, no matter if it is under a wrong concept. ;)
No, don't be, here: The 100 (TV Series) Finn Collins - Episode #2.11 (2015) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.10 (2015) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.9 (2015) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.8 (2014) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.7 (2014) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.6 (2014) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.5 (2014) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.4 (2014) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.3 (2014) ... Finn Collins - Episode #2.2 (2014) ... Finn Collins He won't be in the season premiere, but he's coming back.
Good promo! I liked it! It seems The CW is going to have a very good season rating wise; all their shows are well rated for their standards and the new shows are potential hits- with the possible exception of Jane The Virgen
what are you talking about? it's the basic rule of storytelling: every story has a hero. these days they are also called "protagonists" and "main characters" but their role is the same: to be the "hero" of the story. It's not even about being that noble character that saves poor threatened maidens from dragons and trolls... And now I'm the annoying online person that argues semantics. *sigh* oh well, better accept that about myself.
the clip finishes on "Hero Within" which makes me think that it's about everyone's potential to rise to a challenge or an occasion. be it an unplanned pregnancy (Jane the Virgin), new responsibiblities (Reign) or Survival (The 100 and probably a bunch of Others)
You know Clarke is very confusing to me, because she tries to be diplomatic but at the same time she's very aggressive an over all explosive, so I don’t know if her actions are really heroic, that’s why I think she needs Finn, because from my perception he is the only one with common sense, I mean, he’s right they have the chance to start over knowing what the violence brought to their ancestors and again they’re making the same mistake, so that’s the main reason why I think they both should be together, not just because they’re both cute and they already slept together, but because they complement each other and I think they both could lead the group to build a new better society, and then become heroes because of that.
I got it in IMDb, and I know it's not exactly a trustworthy site, but, in my experience it is in this type of information, and about Finn being dead, yeah he could die but I really don't think so, as I explained it to you before, I think his character has a certain importance in the story and if the kept Monty, they must have kept Finn in the cast.
I actually got the impression that Finn was a little bit naive. I mean, the grounders claim that the 100 started the war by going into their territory and I just thought "Did the swimming and partying scream ARMY to them? Because, as everyone knows, when you want to start a war, OF COURSE you're going to send the teenagers ahead".
No, actually in episode 9 when they had the meeting, Anya told Clarke that the "flares" they shot burned the grounders' village, so they took that as an attack and that's why they thought the 100 wanted a war, everything has been a confusion and Finn almost figured it out, I think at the end nobody is going to be the bad guys because even the attack to Jasper could've been to stop them, because they know there were those guys in Mount Weather who wanted to hunt and study them or whatever... I don't know, all I know is that this show is awesome!!.
in case some of you didn't know Jane the virgin is based on a Venezuelan telenovela... OMG if i wasn't gonna watch that show before now i'm definitely not gonna watch it .... XD
they shot a spear through Jasper's chest in episode one because he crossed a river that was a boundry. That's what Anya called the type of actions that declare war. There was invading the territory (Jasper), torturing one of their own for information (Bellamy even though he did it because he thought his own sister had just been kidnapped for the same thing or worse) and then shooting the missiles (which was just another misunderstanding). From the grounder's perspective, the war started because Jasper ventured too far into their territory. From the 100's perspective, it started when they randomly tried to kill one of the kids. So both felt in their own right to attack the other.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ha,I thought it was about a new show.....wrong!

ReplyDeleteElijah throwing roses....well...erm...cool?
ReplyDeleteArrow: obvious
ReplyDeleteFlash: obvious
Supernatural: both the Winchesters and Cas ARE heroes
The Originals: the whole purpose of the show is Elijah trying to bring out the good man within Klaus, I would consider that heroic
TVD: Stefan is pretty much what I would call a vampiric superhero :P
the rest i'm not sure about?
It was weird promo especially with people throwing random things.
