It's hard to tell if this photograph is from the explosion or if it's an incident after the explosion. If it's the explosion, Severide and Capp looking down could be an indication of the severely injured as Dawson and Shay were on the first floor.
Severide's arm is awkwardly positioned, possibly injured. His call for response device is lower on his uniform, so he's not calling out for help (which again may indicate that whoever is on the floor is already dead). Perhaps they are going to revisit the shoulder injury that Severide had in season one.
The poster means nothing since the show has a tradition of using the "Top 6" characters for every premiere poster, been like this since season 1.
Also everybody is part of the premiere so by showing Lauren it's not false advertising since she'll be a huge part of the episode, through flashbacks. But yes, Shay is gone.
There's no logic in killing a main character... Especially in a show like Chicago Fire that always have so many importance to all of them. But still... I think Shay is really gone.... I never thought that, I always tried to be positive but... anything points to her. They will lose so many viewers for this... Shay is to important for the show. So they kill her, because of this they screw things up with Kelly and turn him into the old Severide and BOOM... They "kill" TWO awesome characters in two different ways! Good job Haas and company... AH! I think I will have so many show in less to watch after these seasons...
Actually I'm gonna shut up as on closer inspection it most definitely reads DIAZ. Also there are photos on 42f site from the promo that clearly show Shay is alive which I really don't get.
No, that's not what I meant... If I will keep watching or not depends on what's gonna happen beside Shay's death. I wanna be honest: I think killing Shay it's the most stupid thing they could do. Really really really a bad choice! But I'm worried about Kelly too. If Shay dies he will be destroyed and they are probably gonna use Shay's death to turn him into an ***hole! We know he keeps everything inside and we know Shay is his rock! He has Lindsay now and I'm glad because I really think she's doing some good to him and he will do some good to her. I think they suit one another very well! But killing Shay will destroy him and he is my favorite character so if they destroy him and bring him back to the character he once was... well I'll be pissed off! Because he grown up very much, because he is an emotional good character and because make him the "old Severide" again will be wrong and IMO, will be very disrespectful for the character itself! So if they kill Shay and do this to Kelly too well yes... In this case I'll stop watch the show. Maybe it's stupid and someone could think I'm not a real fan because of this but that's what I think. I stopped watching PD for much less. I like good things, I like original things so if they start falling into the old same clichè that every show use I'm done!
But don't worry, I'm just one among milions of viewers. Me watching or not watching the show it's not important. The show doesn't depend on me.... No one's gonna notice that I'm gone :)
While this photo does give me pause for thought, I think there's always a real chance this is a flashback, dream or hallucination as personally I think Shay dies. It's also possible Shay succumbs to an injury later after initially appearing fine though I doubt that. My money is on a Severide flashback.
My money is on that too. He's probably thinking of her and be super sure after he thinks about this he will be ready to go back to "normality" like Shay is leading him out of the dark! C'mon they said this death will be HUGE... there's nothing more huge than kill the lovely Shay :( damn producers!
If I could choose I would pick Dawson to bite the dust but I guess it would be too repetitive since Casey already lost a girlfriend in a previous season. I'm still crossing my fingers for Shay, I've always loved her character and her relationship with Severide is my favorite.
Most people think its Shay, but the producers are leaving out a lot of characters. They left it on a cliffhanger for a reason why would they want to give it away before the premiere? This is done on so many series to drive the fans crazy and to make sure they tune in..
It's not a key art for the entire season, it's a promotional poster for the PREMIERE, the first episode. So yes, they have rights to show a dead character on the poster since this person, Shay, will be a huge part of the episode.
Honestly...I cannot wait any longer!! I'm betting that it is a Severide flashback :( :'( fans have been all summer betting that Shay dies, why would they release a photo of Shay to show us that she's alive?
get your point Thou I hope not many people will stop watching or the show is gone. Where do I find you online? I would like to talk to you about something,
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Rahhhh am I the only one who gets a blank page if you try to click on them?
ReplyDeleteI think they love tortuting us! I never felt so scared and excited for a tv show...

Guys: Shay is gone. Prepare yourself mentally.
ReplyDeleteThe show won't be the same without her.

Where do you see Cruz?
ReplyDeleteStill i think that they wouldn't show character which dies in 1ep on key art for whole season! There is no logic in this
ReplyDeleteHe is at the back on the second from last photo.

I think IMDB it's not good in this case. They have all the characters listed... I think it's not update with the new info :)
ReplyDeleteIf this is NOT a producer's bad joke (like Kelly having a dream or something) it's the best good news everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

ReplyDeleteFINALLY A photo with Shay and it looks like flashback :(

ReplyDeleteHonestly...I cannot wait any longer!! I'm betting that it is a Severide flashback :( :'( fans have been all summer betting that Shay dies, why would they release a photo of Shay to show us that she's alive?
ReplyDeleteI think she is alive just see it on tvline.com Fall Spoilers 2014
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteCruz and Dawson are the only main characters missing. Dawson is allready comfirmed. So maybe Cruz??
ReplyDeleteSo he's back.... He could be back and be the one who die! I'm not crying if he's the one. I like him but.... xD this is mean! I feel guilty now :(
ReplyDeleteit's a flashback
ReplyDeleteget your point Thou I hope not many people will stop watching or the show is gone. Where do I find you online? I would like to talk to you about something,
ReplyDeleteSorry but I'll be out if Shay dies. She's the most fun character to watch and Severide without Shay... well I won't be able to watch that.
