Oliver and Felicity opening a shop after him retiring as GA to make a living?
ReplyDeleteThese guys are having so much fun with the Robin Hood references.
ReplyDeletewell....the comics are a giant reference to Robin Hood to begin with :P
ReplyDeleteSherwood Florist with the Green Arrow's base of operations in Seattle. Hmmm
ReplyDeleteHaha good point.
ReplyDeletebtw. I just love how John Diggle = Little John. I never got that until season 2 :P
ReplyDeleteIn the comics Dinah Laurel Lance aka The Black Canary was a florist. Was this the actual name of her store in the comics too or is this made up for the series ?
ReplyDeleteI believe laurel and oliver is opening the shop laurel said something about being business partners in the teaser and it more likely a front for arrow activities
ReplyDeleteOmg!! I never noticed. That's so cool
ReplyDeleteIs Team Canary's 'base' going to be under the shop like Team Arrow's is under Verdant ?
ReplyDeleteMaybe, though it wasn't Arrow's and Canary's base of operations until they moved from Star City in the comics.
ReplyDeleteIs this the business partnership between Oliver and Laurel. Nice nod to comics.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Nice one. I look forward to see how they'll introduce this Florist thing.
ReplyDeleteStill 3 weeks to wait for the show to return, this is still painful. I need Season 3 to happen.
I like these kinds of teases... vague and keep us guessing & speculating.
ReplyDeleteMy mind, too, immediately jumped to Laurel changing careers, since at least one comic version of BC was a florist.
All i keep thinking is that it will be somehow connected to Cupid storyline.
ReplyDeleteJust the play on words is freaking awesome.
ReplyDeleteI think instead of it being Laurel like in the comics it will actually turn out to be Sara who owns the flower shop on the series.
ReplyDelete( it would certainly would be a nice 'nod' to the islands forest )
Is it bad that I'd rather it by Sara and Nyssa who open up the flower shop? :p Laurel already has a job, no need for a shop! And if it is Sara who does own it, you know she'll be staying for a while :p
ReplyDeleteHonestly with the way promotion has been going on and the limited no of episodes Sara is in her role would most probably end this season. So I have no expectations on her future. I don't think Sara will have a place in this show once Laurel will become BC. I am already sad but better be prepared than be horribly disappointed later.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me sad :/ I hope they make Laurel likable by the end of this season. I really really do.
ReplyDeleteSame here, I think it's cupid's shop, I really don't see either Laurel or Oliver selling flowers, I know BC is a florist in the comics but in doesn't fit Laurel's character on the show.
ReplyDeleteI would think so but Sara is only going to be in three episodes so we would have to see more of her if we saw the florist shop as a front for arrow activities.
ReplyDeleteSigh. 20 Days.
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. I'm fairly certain the business partership refered to is the "You catch 'em/I cook 'em" deal Oliver's got going with Laurel regarding catching and prosecuting Starling City criminals..
ReplyDeleteIt's straight from the comics.
ReplyDeleteIt is the "You catch em i cook em" deal. That was confirmed like 2 months ago.
ReplyDeleteHmm, a very odd tease. Normally I'd be thrilled to see such a major reference to comic book lore. But it's not exactly as they've established that ANY characters have any skill or interest in botany. Neither Sara nor Laurel (and if they give it to Carrie Cutter/Cupid it's pitchforks and torches time)
ReplyDeleteThe natural choice would be Sara I guess, she can't sling drinks at Verdant anymore (The club is compromised/belongs to Queen Consolidated now thanks to Isabel). Though if Laurel decides to change career at some point due to events during the season I won't object either.
Unless along with taking over Sara's 'duties' as The Black Canary Laurel will take over running the flower shop as well once her sister dies ... or ... if my personal wish comes true and in a 'Arrow' twist on the comics Sara finds herself wheelchair bound, going by the online name 'Oracle', and becoming The Black Canary II aka Laurel's right hand computer expert, like Felicity is for Oliver.
ReplyDelete( this could actually work if Team Arrow and Team Canary find themselves on opposite sides of certain 'missions' and each side needs there own expert to out do the other in the cyber realm )
Arrow vs. Canary
Felicity vs Sara
Diggle vs Roy
THEY'RE COMING TO MY NECK OF THE WOODS!! YAY!!! :P
