I'm guessing the writing has affected Coulson again and that's why May attacked him. And oh, I hope Fitz will be successful as helping the rest of the team!
ReplyDeleteUgh at Talbot showing up again.
Isn't he a regular now?
ReplyDeleteInteresting synopsis indeed. Coulson has no one he can trust? I don't believe that I think something is getting to him be it the stress of the job or other issues. I agree with the other comment I think maybe the alien affect is getting to him and causing him paranoia issues. Maybe May is attacking him for a reason like to save him and he is to under the influence of it to understand. I can't see May just attacking him unless she some how got influenced by the superpower of the week/super villain of the week and was forced to. I know she and he have had some minor issues before and she can be cold sometimes but I don't see her just attacking Coulson for no reason.
ReplyDeleteAlso nice to Fitz still being an important member who is needed in situations even though he is really struggling at the moment. I'm glad his importance to the team has not been so easily forgotten and ignored.
All about Fitz is interesting for now own and this episode sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteCool, Agent 33. She was the character that in the comics that got Hercules to help S.H.I.E.L.D. against Ares and the Warhawks, not that this matter here.
ReplyDeletewhat with Talbot showing up again..........argh he will probably be going after Coulson and co instead of the real threat
ReplyDeleteNo, he's just a guest star.
ReplyDeleteOops, my mind went into the gutter for that one.
ReplyDeletel like Adrian but every time l see his face on this show l want May to punch him in the face. His character is an annoying villain for the gang a good one but very annoying.
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH this sounds awesome
ReplyDeleteFear the pornstache.
ReplyDeletePoor Fitz is due for some vindication. I just hope the writers let him come through for the team this time instead of taking this opportunity to dig the hole he's in that much deeper.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be surprised if Coulson was imagining May attacking him or something. Love the idea of Fitz having to save the team.
ReplyDeleteNoooo, I can't handle Coulson and May being on the outs again. Please tell me Coulson is hallucinating because of GH-325 or May is being mind-controlled or something.
ReplyDeleteFitz having to save the day sounds good, maybe he will gain some sense of self-worth again if he succeeds which will help him continue to work towards recovery.
Enough Talbot already! He's not an entertaining villain, just a smarmy one-note jackass, and having to look at that ridiculous haircut and mustache doesn't help. (Nothing against Pasdar, he's playing the role like he's supposed to.)
I'm also going with Coulson only imagines that May would attack him because he's going all paranoid because of the GH325.
ReplyDeleteUh oh!
ReplyDeleteAlso: directed by Kevin Tancharoen? This guy has to be related to Maurissa the showrunner, right? Marvel really IS turning into a family business. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Fitz will play a key role in the battle to get Donnie on SHIELD's side in the preceding episode. That would be a good way to show that his brain damage hasn't rendered him useless - all it would take is his heart.
ReplyDeleteOf course. Tancharoen isn't a really common surname, lol
ReplyDeleteYeah Kevin is her brother. I kind of hope Jed and Joss other brother Zack writes an ep for the show he did some fantastic scripts for Southland. Damn talented bunch the Whedon/Tancharoen family is.
ReplyDeleteThat would be really nice. The problem is that, unless they decide to REALLY change things from the comics, it would be doomed to failure. We all know what Donnie's destiny is and it's not to be one of the good guys.
ReplyDeleteGiven Fitz's tenuous state right now, I don't think he could handle another failure without completely falling apart (more so). I would hope the writers would put him in situations where he at least has a chance.
