Agent Carter - Dominic Cooper joins cast

Marvel’s Agent Carter” adds another familiar face as Dominic Cooper (“Devil’s Double,” “My Week With Marilyn”) will reprise the role of Howard Stark in the upcoming series coming to ABC in 2015!

Cooper first played Tony Stark’s father in Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” before returning for a cameo at the end of “Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter,” and now Cooper will reunite with star Hayley Atwell for “Marvel’s Agent Carter."

    How come it took so long for Marvel to announce this?
    Dominic is not a regular VTW, since his name is not in the "starring cast" in the Marvel PR.

    probably negotiations, he might've been in multiple discussions regarding more than one project at the time and there was no clear window in wich he was definitely available on a regular basis. He was announced as a guest earlier on, they probably figured out a window now.


    Remember: only because a character appears each week that doesen't need to imply that all the scenes were shot in different weeks. Putting Stark into a laboratory for half of the season could give them the chance to pre-shoot more than one episode (or they could simply fly him in, shoot his scenes for a batch of random episodes and fly him out again).

    I thought it was known he was going to be on the show but just didn't know if it was going to be as a regular or a few episodes.
