Cobie Smulders :3
ReplyDeleteI would love Maria but I understand after HIMYM Cobie has moved back to NYC so being a regular on a show filmed in LA won’t be happening.
ReplyDeleteWould also love Triplett and I was surprised he wasn’t made a regular until someone pointed out he is a regular on another show, shame.
So out of the ones that could happen then Mike (who has a lot of potential storywise) and Raina (having a regular bad guy is always fun).
I voted for Lady Sif. I love seeing Asgardians on the show, and I doubt Cobie Smulders can be a regular or she would be one already. I'm not sure I like Maria Hill anyway. In the absence of Fury, Hill only looks out for herself.
ReplyDeleteI only voted for Triplett. Without Ward, the team is down some muscle and they're going to need him around full-time. Looks like that won't work with B.J. Britt having another regular gig, though. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteI think the others are better served in small doses. I don't want too many characters on the show or it'll be difficult to give everyone their dues, story-wise. So while I'd welcome seeing more of Mike. Raina, Sif, Hill and of course, whoever Patton Oswalt is playing (in addition to being excited for some of the new characters like Lance Hunter, the Kraken, Lucy Lawless' SHIELD agent and Mockingird), I'd rather only the core team - and, I guess, Ward - were in the main cast.
I hope Zachary Levi's Fandral makes an appearance with or without the others of The Warriors Three :)
ReplyDeleteYeah i think she will factor into the second half of the season especially if the show storylines start converging with what happens in AOU. I'm still not sure why they can't let Stark and the other Avengers know about Coulson, apparently its not going to be mentioned in AOU which seems weird they keep dragging it out. In MCU we trust, I'm sure they have their reasons.
ReplyDeleteBJ Britt, J. August Richards, and Ruth Negga.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I really don't get about the Avengers remaining oblivious to Coulson's resurrection is that it's not like he's in hiding. He walks around in broad daylight all the time, and met with various SHIELD officials like Fury, Hill, Sitwell, Hand and Blake last season. The fact that he's back was clearly no secret in SHIELD. Why wouldn't the Avengers know? Especially since Cap and Widow, at least, have remained in touch with SHIELD since The Avengers, hence the plot of CA: TWS. Hawkeye is an agent too. This whole plot point is just weird.
ReplyDeleteJ. August Richards and Cobie Smulders
ReplyDeleteThe godsend that is Trip aka Agent Sweetheart should be a regular. And not only because without Ward the team is down an Ops guy, simply because there's a lot to explore with Trip's background, plus he's lovely and nice.
ReplyDeleteMaria Hill and Lady Sif. Both awesome characters.
ReplyDeleteI think with Cap and Natasha not knowing its because that was restricted to SHIELD agents with a certain security level, Fury didn't want everyone knowing because he wasn't sure if Coulson was 'right' when he came back.
ReplyDeleteAlso Cap and Natasha were based in Washington whereas we saw the AoS crew based more on the Bus and the Hub (location unknown). I still think both Clint and Natasha may actually know the truth about Coulson but are loyal enough to Fury not to say anything.
It is still weird though.
Trip is fantastic and I would love Victoria Hand, alive and well, please
ReplyDeleteI like Triplett too. And he seems like a pretty down to earth guy and a good mix for the team as some new muscle. And I agree with you I like the core team I don't want them to make to many people regulars. This isn't Game Of Thrones lol don't make it into one of those shows with tons of regular characters half of whose names we end up forgetting and whose storyline sometimes get dropped without resolve because there is so many characters to accommodate. And I'm a fan of Game of Thrones and those style dramas too. But I agree stick with the main cast including Ward and maybe add one other character as a regular and that's it.
ReplyDeleteTriplett becoming a regular would be nice, but it seems that the actor will be too busy to join the regular cast. That's a shame... for this show, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI'm voting Antoine Triplett and Lady Sif.
ReplyDeleteI'm still not convinced she's dead, I was just discussing with someone the other day that she totally could've suspected Ward of being a mole and put an LMD of herself on that plane to test her theory. Her egging Ward on to kill Garrett makes no sense otherwise, he was far too valuable a prisoner given his knowledge about HYDRA.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Triplett and Raina. they are very cool characters for different reasons; specially Raina, she's fascinating. I love Maria, but I do prefer her staying more focused on the movies, it would be harder telling a self contained story in AoS if she is to keep appearing in the movies in key roles, I just love seeing Cobie in the big screen.
ReplyDeleteTriplett for sure. He was my favorite midseason character and he's the only one that would fit seamlessly into the story right now. I like plot to drive which characters get more time instead of popularity. I'd also like to see more of Mike.
ReplyDeleteMaria Hill or Lady Sif.
