For me it will always be Charlie. Then in close second Juliet (I can't imagine how it would be to practically beg for something to blow up and kill you), and the Jin and Sun.
ReplyDeleteJuliet.
ReplyDeleteFor me as well, it will be Charlie with his last message : "Not Penny's boat", then Sun and Jin when they are stuck in the submarine and finally Juliet (Poor Sawyer)
ReplyDeleteSayid, Charlie, Tom, Mikail
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Charlie or Juliet.

definitely charlie. i was sobbing the entire time.
ReplyDeleteGrusome? Has to be Artz, and Nicki and Paulo (as much as I hated their characters, being buried alive? horrible). Other deaths of main characters tended to be emotional, and sad, but not what I would call grusome.
ReplyDeleteGrusome
ReplyDeleteadj. adjective
Inspiring horror and repugnance.
With that definition Nikki and Paulo fit that the most, being buried alive is pretty horrifying.
Jin's death still annoys me. Dude had a daughter and he chose to stay behind with Sun and make his daughter an orphan. He could have lived and raised her!
ReplyDeleteThe one who died with nitro glicerin in the finale... god! I can't remember his name!
ReplyDeleteThe most gruesome for me are Nikki and Paulo's deaths. Seriously what could possibly be more horrifying than being buried alive? Then Sun and Jin's, Charlie's, Juliet's deaths were so sad, unfair and painful for me.
ReplyDeleteHe probably couldn't have raised Ji Yeon if he had left Sun. He's been declared legally dead, Ji Yeon has never met him, and Sun's parents (who aren't too fond of Jin) are taking care of Ji Yeon right now. The likelihood that Jin could walk into all that and start taking care of his daughter without Sun is basically zero.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Nikki and Paolo.I shudder. But honorable mention goes to Locke's dad.
ReplyDeleteCharile's death was epic with his message:Not Penny's boat.
ReplyDeleteJuliet has a gruesome death too. I felt bad for Sawyer.
I almost cried with Sun and Jin's death. It was the most emotive death.
I would vote Nikki and Paulo and Boone too if I could.
Nikki and Paulo being buried alive. Ouch.
ReplyDeleteDoctor Arzt blew up into little pieces!
ReplyDeleteI don't even remember half of these characters but I do remember "Not Penny's boat." Guess they didn't leave an impression.
ReplyDeleteBoth Boone's and Shannon's death were both overshadowed by something Kate thought was more important. I wish the writers wouldnt have tried to overshadow their death and I wish Kate would have been more respectful
ReplyDeleteYou must mean Leslie Artz.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I hated them and I was glad they were killed off, Nikki and Paulo's deaths were pretty gruesome. Out of all the characters who died on LOST, they must have suffered the most. If I only look at the cause of death, relatively painless would be drowning (Charlie, Sun and Jin), blowing up (Michael, Ilana, Sayid) and dying instantly from a gunshot wound (Shannon, Ana Lucia, Daniel). Charlotte probably didn't suffer a lot either even though she didn't know what she was dying from. Boone, Juliet and Jack all succumbed to their respective injuries. Being beaten to death by a smoke monster is pretty gruesome (Eko), as is being strangled to death by someone you believe is a friend or at least an ally (Locke). So my choices are Nikki and Paulo, Mr Eko and Locke.
ReplyDeleteCharie - was killed at the point where I likied him.
