Lord no, I like SMG and I wanted this to work but everything about it was terrible especially the green screen when both sisters were on screen together. It amazes how bad it look considering Orphan Black does the same thing and probably with a similar budget. No, I feel bad for Sarah that her return to TV hasn't worked out but Ringer wasn't good.
Nope, I dropped it after 12 episodes. It was really, really bad (and hugely unrealistic to the point that I thought the writers considered the viewers complete idiots).
I second this. Loved this show !! Bring "Ringer" back to the CW mid-season and if the network is feeling generous bring back "The Secret Circle" as well.
No. It really was pretty bad. I bailed early. If they had money to throw around they could do a wrap up movie or Nikita like 4 episode end the series, but really, it's been too long for people to care, IMHO
Yes! love this show it got cancel before it could find it's audience and Yes! bring back Charmed have it focus on their children have the sisters pop in from time to time like they are from the past to help them in the future
Ringer was good but ever since I've seen Sarah Michelle Gellar doing comedy in The Crazy Ones, I hope she'll do more of it. She was really funny, much like Alyson Hannigan really found herself with How I Met Your Mother.
I liked the show, and I wish it had a better conclusion. However, as someone mentioned before, the chemistry between a number of characters was definitely off. I think they could have done a lot more with the show than they did. I also wonder if it would have done better on a different network.
I was one of the few that liked the show and wished it was given another season to close up storylines, however even if it was possible for the show to return the main male lead is starring in forever in the fall, most of the cast has moved on to other projects.
No, it's been over a year now. It would make zero sense financially to bring it back, the actors have moved on, and I seriously doubt they would be interested anyway.
Odds of this happening....massively low. But I thought it was a shame they canceled it. It was just starting to figure out what it was about and getting more and more fun as it did. What was more disappointing was that the critics kept repeating impressions based on the pilot. They never looked at the later improved episodes. But it didn't make a hint of a blip on the radar. Not gonna happen.
I really don't get why people want this show back, it was not really good. I love SMG and I want to see her in something good that it's popular, not a mediocre show like this.
I was not a fan of the Twin story but Ioan G's crazy ex wife and Zoey Deutsch kicked ass during the season. The twins story was a push over and the mafia thing was awfully written.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't watch it if it was brought back full time. I would watch a couple of episodes if it was brought back to wrap things up mini-movie style.

ReplyDeleteIt was a terrible mess that got moderately better to the level of just a hot mess before getting terrible again.
I think she's saying either a Ringer TV movie or 4 more episodes of Ringer to wrap it up similar to how Nikita got a short season to wrap.
