"Bill can't die! I know everyone does on True Blood, but please tell me that he takes the cure. — Andrea

With only two episodes to go, there are a lot of narrative threads to tie up, including the issue of Bill's mortality. I will only say this: At least one original cast member will say goodbye for good this week. In possibly related news, a longstanding love triangle will be resolved and you'll see one of the show's weirdest — and funniest — sex scenes between a long-unrequited pair.

When I first read this yesterday, I thought maybe there was trick here and that they were referring to Pam as the one to go and resolve one Sookie love triangle, but now the finale press release includes Pam and Eric dealing with Mr. Gus and it has Sookie "contemplating" a future with or with out Bill, which could still mean he died...

  7. I responded with the spoiler I'm reffering to (and my reasoning) below off of @01lander's reply...

  8. Come on! Just because there's no mention of his plot doesn't make him dead. Also if he dies it will be near the end of the series finale and not in episode 9 or at the beginning of episode 10.
I still don't like it because his love for Caroline is like: Well, I suddenly realised she's the love of my life", lol :)) But if he dies, it's gonna be like with LOST. All my favorite characters die - Charlie and Jack from LOST and now Bill, uggghhh :'(( If Rumple from once upon a time is also dead at the end of the show, I'll be so pissed off!!

If we take what TV line/Mega Buzz says as truth and believe that when they say, "In Possibly related news...", then it means that it relates to the Bill, Eric, and Sookie love triangle and thus one of them will die, as that is what the first part of the spoiler says, which was also in relation to Bill's mortality! The press release for this episode lists that Sookie, Pam, Eric, and Sam are all alive and doing things! So you tell me, whom else is Sookie or Bill in a long standing love triangle with that is also a main character that also would relate to Bill's mortality???

I think in some ways it's a shame if Bill does die, but at the same time, I think he never went about anything right and unfortunately the current narrative is playing to the idea that he really did love his wife and children and that becoming a vampire was always burden and a real injustice done onto him and he's been behaving like he's ready let go and "go home"...I still hope that if he is the one to die, that he does something really redeeming and/or we see a situation where he is at piece, because seeing something on the 'other side' is what can give any series hope in that dead is not the end, which I think can be a really beautiful idea.

I read a lot of theories about love triangle, death of one big character...
Noboby think about Jason, Jessica and Hoyt?
and Lafayett as the "goodbye forever"?
Those characters need also a conclusion to their stories and this will be the time ( and drive crazy fans).

  12. If Andy gets an unexpected inheritence, I wonder if that's a clue Bill might've died? I seriously thought he was going to his lawyer to leave his estate to Andy, not Jessica.

  13. I kind of wish no one else would have to die. Unlike a lot of fans, I like almost all of the characters, even if I get mad at them sometimes, I still hope for them, but I also know better than to think that the last two episodes will let us go unscathed.

  14. It could be, but if you go back and re-read the spoilers about that, it suggest those two spoilers are interrelated...
