I wish AMC would allow more swearing like this. The long pause is still stupid but changing the line to "fucking" makes it ten times better.
God, I wish TV would allow more swearing because it's unrealistic how little they do it. I know Sam and Dean are swearing up a storm, and so are other characters.
Can this just be the version that they put on the DVDs and stuff? Please? I understand why it wasn't on TV (even though they could have censored it), but there really isn't any reason to not have this in the episode now.
OMG As an European I never expected such a ridicolous censorship. Allowing teenagers at the age of 14 to watch the hero of the series pulling out a guy's throat with his teeths but then censoring THIS? That can happen only in the US!
Our censorship in the US seems to almost date back to the Puritans. European tv has always been much freer with nudity and stuff. And here, we're like, you can't show that on network tv. I think it's slowly getting more relaxed, but not enough.
It just sounds so much better, given their situation. We can watch people get eaten alive, throats ripped out, kids nearly raped .. but the word 'fu*k' makes us cry.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad got one f-word a season. To my recollection, TWD didn't actually use theirs during the course of the season. Could've been used here.
ReplyDeleteLol I really don't remember the silence gap being that long. Ruins the scene completely.
ReplyDeleteI wish this was included. I don't understand why so much violence can be included but they censor words.

ReplyDeleteWhat was the original line??
ReplyDeleteIt was "messing".
ReplyDeleteScrewing, was in fact the word used.
ReplyDeleteThey should have just took the FCC fine and let this one air. Would have added more dynamic to that scene.

ReplyDeleteHearing this has damaged me. ...irreparably.
ReplyDeleteReally? That makes me so happy! It's funny that profanity can make me so happy, considering that I don't use it myself.
