Previously on The Bridge: Marco left David Tate to rot in prison, Sebastian Cerisola is having Adriana followed, and Sonya & Marco were able to recover Eva's signed affidavit, but added a huge bullseye on their backs in the process of doing so.
Frye & Adriana:
After all the stuff that Frye & Adriana have worked through to get Frye back on his feet and on the straight and narrow with all of his substance abuse issues, it's kind of been fairly obvious this season that Frye would have some sort of a relapse. Even though that's been slowly working this season, viewers can expect to see a lot of that in this episode. Unfortunately for Frye's friends, his destructive behavior would seem to be contagious.
Marco Ruiz:
The shooting in the end of the last episode forced Marco into a very uncomfortable position. As a result, Marco is going to be forced to learn how to play politics...a very rough form of politics that is commonly referred to as blackmail. It's not exactly the morally correct option, but Marco's precarious position with Sonya and Captain Robles forces him to do something quite dangerous and confusing for Sonya. Also, it looks like we aren't quite finished with David Tate.
Sonya & Jack:
The answer to a few of the questions that I posed in my last review will be revealed within the first 15 minutes of the episode. This is an extremely confusing time for Sonya as she is unsure about a lot of things. Marco is acting peculiar and forcing her to lie, Jack is acting mysterious, Hank is over protective, and with so many emotions involved in all of these various parts of her life, she is forced to try to bring some quality of perfect sense back into her life.
Fausto Galvan:
Fausto Galvan is very much present in this episode. The majority of the times that we have seen him, he's forced to talk to people at night or in a big hangar where he is hidden from the outside world's threats. As one can imagine, this can start to wear on a person. Much like an undercover spy is forced to act a certain way, Fausto Galvan is forced to live his life through a shell of sorts.
Eleanor Nacht:
The creepiest and most politely rude character on television is taking a damage report from all of the cartel's businessmen. In this episode, a lot more of Eleanor's backstory is revealed. It's quite creepy and yes, it has to do with the acorn.
