Previously on The Bridge: The DEA is Frye's source, Eva makes a statement, Marco chooses to leave David Tate to rot away in prison, Prosector Pintado is in a lot of danger, Sonya took Jim's ashes, and Jack is as interested in his brother's drawings as Sonya is.
Jack & Sonya
I was honestly not a bit surprised when Sonya decided to take Jim Dobbs' ashes in the last episode simply because of Sonya's peculiar relationship with him. As I said in my last review, I believe Sonya, in a super weird way, was closer to Jim than his own brother was. Now that Jim is gone, Sonya is going to have to find something to fill that void. While personal relationships are extremely difficult for Sonya, she makes an honest attempt at furthering her relationship with Jack in this episode. It's not romantic or even the slightest bit loving, but for Sonya it's a major step forward.
Prosecutor Pintado:
As we saw in the last episode, what Prosecutor Pintado is doing is extremely dangerous. Not only is he attempting to take down a bunch of corrupt cops, but he's also after Fausto Galvan, a man who would seem to have an infinite amount of resources and allies. Early in this episode, Prosecutor Pintado talks about the dangers of their noble investigation with Marco and Sonya. In this episode, you can expect Prosecutor Pintado to be extremely guarded about his work. Prosecutor Pintado's only shortcoming is the fact that he doesn't have more followers like Sonya, Marco, and Hank.
Frye & Adriana
While Sonya deals with her personal issues, Frye and Adriana are becoming the real detectives of The Bridge. Beyond the fact that they are basically working for DEA agents, they are very close to finding out the answers to some very dangerous questions. However, I should warn everyone that they are starting to get a little too comfortable taking as many risks as they do. Asking questions about money laundering for the cartel that may or may not involve the CIA is obviously very, very dangerous business. On top of the huge danger that they are in from their opponents, this episode pits Frye & Adriana against some of their closest allies. Frye gets quite "pissed off" during this point. You'll understand the quotes when you watch.

This episode gives Eva the most screen time she has had in a while. Signing a statement that identified the men in the Chihuahua police department that raped her was a major step forward for her emotionally. If the prosecution goes as planned, Eva will be in more danger, but the streets of Juarez will be a little safer without people like Captain Robles roaming around. With this in her mind, she will finally be able to start moving on with her life. This is until she looks in the shed...
