Previously on The Bridge: Eleanor has a really creepy and sad backstory, Frye and Adriana have gotten too close to their investigation, Eleanor is taking a damage report, Charlotte is the DEA's newest informant, Marco tells us a lie that protects everyone and a 15 year old secret finally comes out.
Sonya: Sonya's backstory has only really been explored through her relationship with her long dead sister and Hank. Expect to see a small bit more of her backstory. Additionally, Sonya has grown to trust Marco over the course of the series, but is forced to periodically enter the gray area of the law, something that is entirely foreign to Sonya. By the end of this episode, Sonya is extremely confused by the new revelations from Hank, Marco's mysterious behavior, and someone else that isn't where they should be. How is that for a tease?
Adriana & Frye: As Adriana and Frye have become the real investigative detectives in the last few episode, it was inevitable that Sonya would cross (See what I did there?) paths with them again. Unfortunately for Lucy, this meeting comes up quite a bit faster than I even expected. In this episode, Frye makes even worse decisions that force him into a very, very bad place both physically and emotionally. This forces Adriana to go looking for help from the last person who really wants to help Daniel Frye.
Eva & Linder: I know I've said it before, but Linder's story has always been the one that moves at a snail pace. He may get 15 minutes of screen time, but the plot only moves about the equivalent of 5 regular minutes of screen time. This episode continues that trend, but does so in a way that is different than before because of his current situation. As I predicted before, Eva has now thrown all of her trust in Linder's form of justice which viewers can expect to end in a way that is quite bloody. If there are any Eva/Linder shippers out there, this episode is for you.
Fausto Galvan: As Fausto's empire has grown, his lust for power has ironically waned. That being said, Fausto is still very much interested in living a life worth living. In the last few episodes, Fausto has grown increasingly despondent because of his inability to walk the streets like a normal man. At the same time he has faced a power struggle within his own organization and writers have made it very clear that he does not always see eye to eye with Sebastian Cerisola. On top of this, every single one of his allies works for him only because they have to. Expect to see Sebastian Cerisola attempt to gain the upper hand in this episode by driving a wedge between Fausto and Fausto's closest ally.
