    No.. you're not. Just yesterday I saw a promo on SonyHD with the "Are you my father" nonsense, it seriously pissed me off and decided I won't be watching any promos at all >( THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the warning, I will ignore this promo.. and the others too. mehh no new footage anyway.

    The last promo is just silly... I can’t imagine anyone
    watching this show for the sake of finding out if Red and Keen are related. If
    anything, it’s probably the most annoying aspect of the show (that and the
    general incompetence required to keep the great “mystery” alive).

    The only explanation for the whole thing is he doesn't see himself as her father because he didn't raise her, but he is her biological father. He said to Sam, you will always be her father, when he killed him. I just don't know what other explanation for it, unless he is her uncle and his brother or sisters families were killed along with his. I don't see how the relationship could not be familial.

    I agree with your theory.
    It is just very frustrating that a group of qualified agents would fail to
    think of comparing Red’s and Keen’s DNA. It’s not like she was the only one
    wondering what’s the connection: they all wanted to know why Red chose her.
    Instead, we get an entire season of watching the characters refusing to do
    something that they should start with. I have a hard time treating any of them
    seriously when Red is the only one who seems to make use of his brain.

    That is the one flaw if he does turn out to be a relative. Are they really all so stupid that they wouldn't run the dna? Is she really so stupid? I agree with you that he is the only person on the show that uses his brain. The Blacklist would suck if it wasn't for James Spaders brilliance.
