    Now it looks like Kate will try to kill Scott, and Peter will have her killed instead. Could Meredith have been onto something when she said that Peter would make everything right? One of the stars of the show said that there would be a lot of twists and turns. Maybe one of them will be that Peter wants to be Alpha again so that he can protect Malia, or all of them, from a bigger threat that will be revealed later on. I remember when Derek let everyone think he was the bad guy, biting people left and right, because he needed to gather enough power to fight the Alpha pack. Maybe the Mexican Hunters are biding their time, with the help of Argent, and Peter knows about it because of his (however brief) alliance with Kate. Scott isn't strong enough to fight all of those Hunters, but Peter would have an easier time of it if he finds a way to gather power from every supernatural in the area.

    Possible, but given Peter's ruthlessness and mass murdering nature on a subconscious level, as well as his murdering his own sister for power I doubt he has benign intentions. That and he plans on killing a 17 year-old kid who is pretty much the Captain America of teenagers.
