Courtney B. Vance and James Remar have booked guest roles on NBC’s fall drama series State Of Affairs.
Vance will recur as First Gentleman Marshall Payton, a Stanford Law grad working as a pro bono counsel for advocacy groups and husband of the president.
Remar plays Syd, a former CIA agent who now runs a “clandestine service.” His assistance is often requested by Charleston Tucker (Heigl), who Syd feels an obligation to help due to his loyalty to her grandfather.
