I am really undecided about this one, if only because I don't really feel like adding another procedural to my rotation, but I admit that I am interested in this one. I think I will end up checking out the pilot.
I wasn't sure about this one either, but the pilot pleasantly surprised me. Interesting characters and fast-paced. Indeed you should give the pilot a try and maybe it will win you over like it did with me.
It will get a sampling thanks to TBBT - but in a tough timeslot on network + MNF. It should get some leeway since Madame Secretary will be DOA - especially in the demo. I wouldn't be surprised if CBS flips it with NCIS: LA after TB goes on hiatus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This looks really good!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely not anything like CBS's existing procedurals.
ReplyDeleteAwesome ones. And definitely one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteIt will still end up as a procedural, no?
ReplyDeleteCBS is not really promotiong it as a procedural, but it has similar elements. A quote from the TCA press tour.
ReplyDelete"It has a 'procedural engine' but is not really a procedural", said executive producer Nick Santora. “It’s a fun-cedural”, he said.
We shall see. I will end up trying it anyway I think.
