The "War for New York" is on! With only 7 episodes left this season whose side are YOU on.............Strigoi or Humanity? 4 ANOTHER SEASON OF THE STRAIN, I am Nobody!!!
I loved the way it turned out for the people who didn't believe in Eph's story. Hehe, karma's a bitch. Very very good ep, loved Vasily's story the most, apparently he's become my favourite. I just thought the eclipse would be the end-of-season point of utter devastation and strigoi dominance, then I remembered total eclipses only take minutes to disappear... so it was not. But still a cool little bad omen as Kelly said. Btw, did they change her boyfriend's actor?
We don't watch much TV in my house, but "The Strain" has become a new "must see." Really like how things are progressing so far -- good mix of horror, suspense, and character insight. Even though Kelly's boyfriend would appear to be merely an irritating plot device, I'm not so sure ... knowing what we've learned about Strigoi and how they gravitate toward turning their loved ones, I wouldn't be so sure his doomed walk down that office corridor will be the last we see of him. Which makes that last scene with Kelly and her son in their 3D glasses tense and also poignant -- because if they've decided not to leave the city, I'm pretty worried about what's gonna happen when the boyfriend finally "comes home" from work.
The boyfriend really is an irritant. But I dislike Kelly just as much. How does he know Eph had a drinking problem? Kelly then wants to reign him in, after she's give him Eph's home and family, please. I want to see both of them die. It will serve Kelly right, if the boyfriend comes home and infects her. Hopefully Zak will get away from him. I was glad the FBI guys met their demise. Enjoyed the episode. Oh and I feel bad for Kent and Gus. They're stuck being Eichorst puppets.
Good episode, but this eclipse was a bit if an anti-climax. There was just that one vampire in the street. I thought they were all gonna come out and take advantage of the brief period of darkness.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteKelly is annoying and her boyfriend is a massive tool. This may sound a little disturbed, but I can't wait for Eph to chop his head off.
