Damn powerful, especially the last scene. On top of that 1) Ever Carradine is just awesome, you can't truly hate a character without applauding the actor that inspired the emotions. 2) Please tell me this isn't the last we've seen of Rusty's Mom. She's a great emotional villain for Rusty/Sharon who are trying to figure out their roles. 3) So hoping SOB is a spinoff. Fritz has become a more interesting character. 4) Sharon Raydor - Mother of the year award candidate.
1) Couldn't agree with you more. Seldom do I want to step through the tv screen and do damage to a character than I did whenRusty's Mom started talking about the "work he did on the side" 3) At this point I'd actually put money down that it is. Just seems like they've invested an awful lot not to. 4) Still agreeing with you
seemed like the entire division wanted to head to the jail and have a word with her
Rusty's mum has a serious problem. How can she suggest something like this to her own son? I thought she was bad enough when she told him "she forgave him for being gay".
I thought those first few moments between Fritz and the doctor were SO funny! I actually laughed out loud even through the repeat which was on at 11 after Murder in the First. I <3, <3, <3 this show, this cast, this writing team, this crew! May Major Crimes continue FOREVER!!!
so the war between Sharon vs Sharon has begun........Captain Sharon will win of course but Rusty mom is somehow going to escape from jail, take Rusty and get out of California is my guess........I don't think Rusty will be happy if he found out Captain Sharon making a deal with his mom
Ever Carradine was great in this role. The scenes between Rusty's mom and Rusty in the beginning, as well as the last scene with the mom and Sharon, were engaging, powerful, and so rife with emotion.
Fritz has become more interesting, as he's taking charge of SOB. But I still don't see how it's necessary to give him a medical condition that would effectively put him on the sidelines more, in terms of the action.
For next season, I hope they explore the other Major Crimes Unit characters' lives more, not just Sharon and Rusty all the time. I'd like to see Tao's family life some more, as well as Flynn's.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That is why you should never mess with Sharon Raydor, especially when Rusty is concerned.

ReplyDeleteI liked the cop that got kidnapped. That woman was NOT going down without a fight! Awesome episode!
