    This episode and the preacher episode were the best ones. Carrie Coon was great and I loved every scene in this episode. Also it's good to see that the GR is in NYC as well. So they appear to not just be a local branch.

    Holy shit, what an phenomenal episode this was. I'm really loving the standalone episodes and having it dive deeper into the mysterious characters of the show (in this case Nora) have my eyes glued to the screen from start to finish. Underneath all that endurance is a woman who is the most victimized and suffering greatly from The Sudden Departure. Also, like Two Boats and a Helicopter (my favorite episode of the series thus far) the performances were outstanding. I really hope the show has more of these standalones. They're fantastic so far.

    This was my favourite episode of a show I'm loving more and more each week.

    Carrie Coon did a fantastic job, although I wasn't sure about her casting initially as she's not quite what I pictured based on the book. She's really proven herself this week with a stunning performance in a beautiful episode. I like the direction they've taken her character now too - again, it's different from the book but for the better in my opinion.

    Fantastic episode. It seems to be all about perception in the face of grief, and I love how they take us through Nora to expand on society as a whole rather than trying to have various entry points. It helps everything stay more focused, and Carrie Coon stole the show.

    I like how they expanded upon the society through the eyes of one character, rather than trying to use multiple entry points. Wonderfully acted and written.

    The stand alone episodes are beautiful. This one and the preacher (Nora's brother, Matt) were the best ones. Carrie Coon is a wonderful actress and she killed it.

    "Fuck your daugther!" must be the funniest line i have ever heard so far on the show....
    What an incredible episode. I must say when they go outside the main characters, the series becomes much more rich and interesting, Matt, Gladys and of course this one have been the best, the acting, the storyline, everything, had me watching and asking again why is it over so soon? when it was already 50 min on.
    Since episode one you can see that this is about getting to know how people cope with what happened and try to move on, while one are still mourning their looses, some are trying to get on, and some are trying to find answer. Nora is such an interesting character, that first scenes before the opening credits got me stuck trying to figure out what she was doing and how Holly Wayne explained it (which had my skin crawling the whole time. i was telling to the screen, GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE) It made sence. Her story is so sad that seeing her get a little bit of happiness was a great moment.

    Nora is the character that has stood out the most to me since the pilot and I'm happy she we get an episode centered around her. What I liked the most was her and Kevin at the end, not because of the obvious upcoming romance between these two but rather because these two were excited and looking forward to something and that barely happens on this overwhelmingly bleak show.

    This was the strongest episode of the season so far, in a string of very strong episodes. Carrie Coon was excellent, she carried the whole episode on her shoulders, she had me in tears in the scene where she holds Wayne.
