  1. Uh, did Christie suffer a psychotic break when she murdered Alak's mistress? Because I'm now terrified of her.

And ow, the fight between Irisa and Nolan hurt. Really hope Tommy doesn't die either because rude.

    Great episodes!

  2. really great double up of eps tonight... really liked Amanda as deputy... I hope that Stahma doesn't go back to Datak so easily as I've enjoyed her as the boss and found Christie's turn very interesting.. I liked Nolan and Berlin just "hanging out", but it's clear that he's holding a torch for Amanda who seems to be falling for Pottinger's efforts at this point... I would like to get some detailed backstory on the buried ship more than what we know so far and hope they show it to us...

  3. Probably it might have something to do with her being pregnant with an alien baby.

  4. I've been a bit disappointed in the last few episodes the start of the season was much stronger I hope it can pull itself together next week. Glad 'Treasure Doll' is gone she was so annoying, at least her death gave Christie a personality at last! I hope Tommy survives it was nice when Nolan finally acknowledged him!

  5. I love how Christie is changing. She's certainly inspired by Stahma :-)
And Amanda as a deputy was fun! It would be great to see her and Nolan working together again.
    Damn you Pottinger!
Other than that, I find Alak super adorable. Doesn't matter how bad-ass he's trying to be. He's just the cutest softy :-)

  6. I'm sick of Irisa and her constant drama. Can she go jump off a cliff a few times and never come back?

  7. The show is good at showing and developing people's relationships. I really enjoy all of the different relationships on the show, including Amanda and Kenya, Datak and Stahma, Nolan and Irissa, the potential of Amanda and Nolan, the friendship between Datak and Yewell, Datak and Rafe, etc.

Bottom of the World - Ew, to Amanda and Pottinger. Aw, at Nolan's feelings for Amanda. Rafe, and now his wife, are really cool characters. Loved the wife's headslap at Quentin and the "stupid child" comment. Those McCawley kids are just not as cool as their parents.

Doll Parts - I like those scenes pointing out Amanda and Nolan's feelings towards each other. I also enjoyed how Pottinger and the rest of the E-Rep stuff didn't take up valuable show time, in this episode. I enjoyed all the storylines in this episode, and the character development it gave some of the key main characters.

The show finally gets rid of that awful Treasure Doll character, only to show us her scenes with Amanda that make her more tolerable than when she was alive. The show did this recently with Kenya too.

I thought that fight between Treasure Doll and Christie to be totally a self-defense issue. Christie tried to leave, even after finding out the psycho tried to poison and kill Christie's unborn child. That alone, would give any expectant mother cause to kill the attacker. When Treasure Doll tried to attack Christie repeatedly, Christie fought back. Doesn't necessarily make Christie any worse a person, for not being especially sad or feeling bad, that she accidentally killed the psycho who tried to kill Christie's baby. That said, Christie's ease at explaining what happened to Alak, and seemless integration into her in-laws' culture, does give Christie a slightly more interesting character development. Still, I wish the writers would give Christie even more character development, regarding being more herself, and that being human could be just as great as being Castithian. I bothers me that she keeps putting down being human, which she is, while trying to be an entirely different species. Doesn't bode well for a marriage, or impending motherhood, when she's not even happy with who she is.
