I wasn't able to finish my Perishable recap before Monstrous aired on Sunday, so it was too late to post on SpoilerTV. If you'd like to read it, find the recap here. Also you can find the official Bingo card for 1.11, links to 7 others, and directions for how to make your own Teen Wolf Bingo cards here. Enjoy! Let me know if you get a Bingo next week.

  1. Yeah, i have no idea what happened in this episode but I'm pretty sure logic is taking a vacation with common sense to visit Jackson and Isaac in London. Maybe Danny's there too. In the end, since the whole episode is bat guano crazy, I chose comatose Peter creates a dead pool that loony Meredith decides to live out.

  2. I thought Scott killed some of those hunters

  3. I still haven't even seen 4x09 fml :(

Every time I try to watch I just can't idk why, especially odd since eps 7&8 were my favourites

  4. Check logic at the door and approach the last two episodes as a wacky acid trip. They are so "What?" that it actually makes me laugh. 4.09 is worth it for CrazyPants DoucheOrderly alone and I hated him before that episode.

  5. I haven't heard much about the episodes, there have been surprisingly few spoilers on twitter other than who the benefactor is and how Scott went all super alpha...unless that's all that really happened :P

  6. Ha! I think it's because no one really knows what happened. I mean it was on screen and they talked it out but nothing ever made sense. The collective fandom seems to be in a state of "Huh?"

  7. Lol maybe that's why they extended the finale, so much explaining to do!

  8. I think I got it but man was that complicated. It makes sense in a very messed way. I think this is it: basically, Lorraine Martin (who worked for IBM in the 1970's) predicted her partner Maddy's death. Then Meredith having been committed at Eichen House for claiming to hear voices, was chosen by parapsychologists working for Lorraine to be tested to see if (as Lorraine believed at the time) she could predict the future and death. During these tests at the lake house in the special room Meredith was driven insane and hospitalized for a year. Afterwords, Lorraine experienced a premonition of sorts and wrote the code, and cipher keys to the deadpool without knowing what it was, which along with her obsession with the supernatural led her to being committed to Eichen House. While Meredith was in the hospital she shared a room with a comatose yet still mentally active (albeit insane) Peter who in his narcissistic blood thirsty ramblings talked about committing mass murder and rebuilding the supernatural community from scratch by creating a deadpool of the supernatural and paying assassins like The Mute to carry it out, influenced Meredith to create and prepare to enact these plans. To do so she created a list of supernatural beings per Peter's design (adding to it over time) manipulated Brunski into using Lorraine to create the deadpool server, who did so by forcing Lorraine to use the code to make it and had her install it on the computers in the lake house (which along with the record player were used to test Meredith's abilities that's why they were there). Before he killed her to cover it, Lorraine left hints for Lydia to find in the list, and the key in the wine bottle so she could shut the computers off. Brunski after killing her, created the mix tapes for the deadpool. Then when Allison died Meredith knowing she was the first cipher for the list, had Brunski sent Kate the tape telling her about the triskelion that could supposedly teach her to control the shift, so that Kate would kidnap and use Derek to get into the Hale Vault, during whichh Brunski used flash bangs to distract Kate and Peter and steal the $117 of bearer bonds in the safe. Using these bonds, Brunski then on Meredith's orders activated the deadpool sent the tapes to assassins like The Orphans, The Mute and The Chemist (and possibly Malia's mom). This is the story of how the deadpool came to be. As for why Meredith did it, it's simple she having been driven insane but as always wanting to help, believed that it would be best if Peter rebuilt the supernatural community from scratch seeing the ones that existed as monsters.

  9. bwahahaha! That is an awesome quote....funny and very apropos.

the fruit bat insanity was loads of fun for me but my favorite scene was Scott dealing with a terrified Liam.

Though I do this it's a bit much to ask two people who are totally CRAY CRAY to operate on logic. Well, normal people logic. I till snicker when I hear peter saying "I'm healthier now."

  10. I read that out loud. I am out of breath. :-)

I love the typo... You left the million off the $117.

I re-watched the ep this morning and realized that Peter also mentioned hiring "The Desert Wolf" Isn't that Malia's Mom? If that's correct then I'm thinking we might see her before the end of the season...and possibly unaware of the cancellation of the contracts.

  11. My favorite scene was definitely the flashback to Peter's comatose semi-astral ranting, how he connected with Meredith to remember it, and how Lydia saw what was going on in their heads. The Stiles and Malia make-up scene had nothing on that in my opinion. While I really enjoy this show, I'm not sure I care for any of the current relationships.

  12. Yeah sorry about that I forgot to edit it, it was a pain to write.

  13. Probably, given they showed a shot of a coyote in the mid-season trailer.

  14. Rewatching for the podcast tonight and the same thing keeps sticking around in my brain each time. This is the 4th time I've watched it and I think the key comes with Lydia's speech: Lydia:
"Stop. Stop it. This is what she wants. It's why she's here. Look around Sheriff. There's 3 people in here right now, three
people still on the dead pool. Me,
    Parrish, and Meredith."

So who is she? At first glance it sounds like Meredith but by the end it does not. They are back to blaming Peter then. Is "she" really someone else? If that's the case, then is "she" the real Benefactor and everything from this episode was really a mind warp? Oh and in other news, if Maddy is alive, I'm leading a march on the writers' room.

  15. That is the best explanation I have heard so far. It at least gets rid of the biggest plot issues and has the best timeline. Kudos! Thanks for sharing.

  16. The flashback was at least entertaining. Not so much that Stiles and Malia one. I preferred their other scenes to be honest.

  17. Peter's healthier line is my favorite of the episode.
