Stephanie Jacobsen has landed a potentially recurring role on NCIS, EW has learned exclusively.
The Revenge and Melrose Place alum will play FBI Special Agent Leia Pendergast, who is partnered with Agent DiNozzo for a case involving an international terrorist threat targeting Navy researchers.
Could she be a new love interest for DiNozzo? The description of her character seems to imply as much: “Armed but feminine, sexy and single, cool and confident. A former U.S. Marshal-turned FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force leader, she is flirtatious and adventurous with a sense of humor. Leia is a straight shooter, brash when she needs to be. She isn’t afraid to knock down doors or egos.”

I hope she's named after the Star Wars character.
ReplyDeleteShe's quite beautiful. I hope that she is a love interest for Tony that lasts for more than one episode and isn't used to humiliate Tony somehow. He hasn't been in a romantic relationship since Jeanne, which was of course doomed to failure. Wouldn't it be amazing if they portrayed her as respecting, admiring, and actually caring about Tony? Wouldn't it be amazing if the writers were allowed and encouraged to give us brave, not a loser with women, and highly competent Tony this season? Wouldn't it be amazing if Tony got to be the star in some of the action and hero scenes this season instead of giving them all to Gibbs?
ReplyDeleteYou know the last lines of description describes Gibbs.
ReplyDeleteGibbs is a straight shooter, brash when he needs to be . He isn't afraid to knock down doors or egos.
Which is a little wacky. Still, Im kinda feeling that Dinozzo is treading water where he is now. In any other job he would of been promoted out/on long ago.
My hope for his character at least is that at the end of the show he does get a chance to either take over Gibb's role (when Gibbs retires) or he gets a chance again overseas heading his own team. Perhaps France?
