The first in a planned trilogy currently is in production and stars Ed Skrein. Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp., which currently has the hit movie Lucy in theaters, announced Friday that the North American release date for The Transporter Legacy will be March 6, 2015.
The latest installment in the Transporter action franchise is the first film in a planned trilogy. It will be the first Europa project that will be handled by a new domestic marketing and distribution joint venture with Relativity Media.

The fast-paced action movie is again set in the criminal underworld in France, where Frank Martin (Skrein) is known as The Transporter, because he is the best driver and mercenary money can buy. In this installment, he meets Anna (Chabanol) and they attempt to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers who also have kidnapped Frank’s father.

ReplyDeleteI'm a little sad they replaced Jason Statham. He IS Frank Martin. His absence was also one of the reasons I wasn't a fan of the tv-show.
