Including the shot of Agent Carter but zero AoS is what made me think that. I still love the show but it's been pretty much abandoned. I think from here on out we have to accept that the movies exist in the show universe but the show doesn't exist in the movie universe.
Except, Agents of SHIELD is NOT part of some alternate, spin-off universe. The later events of Season 1 directly ties into the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Unless those events transpired in 2 alternate realities simultaneously, it's most definitely the same universe.
Marvel must have forgotten about AOS existence or the people putting the video forgot to add scenes from AOS........does it really matter if the video not cover it
I don't think MurderMondays meant that literally. Rather, it was a sarcastic comment on Marvel ignoring AoS in that video, because for all they enthuse about how "It's all connected" and the show is also a part of the Marvel universe, they didn't bother to put in a single clip from it.
If the show and the movies are supposedly connected then they need to include it in stuff like this. Otherwise it implies what happens in the show doesn't matter. It's a one-way connection right now and I don't see that changing.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Seeing the few short snippets of Avengers: Age of Ultron is so cool! I'm really excited for it :)
ReplyDeleteThey may as well just officially announce that Agents of SHIELD exists in an alternate, spin-off universe.
ReplyDeletewow no agents of shield at all
ReplyDeleteno scarlet witch or quicksilver scene from age of ultron scene at the end though
ReplyDeleteOh god. i love marvel! I'm so excited for avenger 2 <3
ReplyDeleteThe Scarlet Witch and Quicksliver footage is from the credit scene during The Winter Soldier. There is no Age of Ultron footage in this.
ReplyDelete"Blah, blah, blah... what the hell does that have to do with anything?"
ReplyDeleteGenius.
I too have to wonder why AoS didn't get any love in that video. :( I mean, there was even a clip from the Agent Carter short!

ReplyDelete@Alex Forrest explained what I meant pretty well.

Ahh fair point. I suppose the clip was intended to solely be focused on the movies.
