The network has handed out an early pilot order to medical crisis drama Austen's Razor, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The drama centers on a brilliant bioethicist who is called in at crisis moments to solve the most complicated, dynamic and confounding medical issues imaginable. The character is inspired by Arthur L. Caplan, the foremost authority on bioethics, who works for New York University's Langone Medical Center and consults for companies and organizations around the globe.
