iZombie‘s bestie is now a real Hellcat.
TVLine has learned exclusively that Aly Michalka has boarded the comic books-based CW drama in the recurring role of Peyton, roommate and No. 1 gal pal to series star Rose McIver’s Liv, who is a med student-turned-zombie.
Last Man Standing‘s Alexandra Krosney played Peyton in the original iZombie pilot, but was let go shortly after the supernatural series scored a spot on The CW’s midseason schedule.

Better than Alexandra Krosney at least :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait! :)
ReplyDeleteI heard they're recasting Liv's mom, too. Haven't they found a replacement for the character?
They haven't announced anything as yet. I'm sure it'll be soon :)
ReplyDeleteLove that girl in "Hellcats".
ReplyDeleteLoved Aly in "Hellcats" as Marty.
ReplyDeleteI think she is just average actress, but not bad at all. I see they change it to recurring role only tho
ReplyDeletePhil of the future!
ReplyDeleteBetter she dies soon and her character is like Ellie in the comics, even though she is a 60s ghost, this show has been honest from the beginning on being a fair adaptation, so I'm cool with everything :P
Same! So excited to see her in iZombie
ReplyDeleteNot the kind of casting I was expecting for the role but it'll do.
ReplyDeleteShe's an ok actress but now Im scared about how long the show will last. Im really looking forward to iZombie and I hope it goes on for 5+ seasons but whenever Aly Michalka plays a role in a show, the show never lasts long. Lets hope Im wrong
ReplyDelete"...whenever Aly Michalka plays a role in a show, the show never lasts long."
ReplyDeleteShe was a regular on Hellcats and guest starred on Two and a Half Men, CSI: NY, Breaking In and Anger Management. Only two of those shows were short-lived and of those two, Breaking In was already doomed by the time she did her episode. I don't know where you get "never" from.
