PRODUCTION ON THE SERIES’ THRILLING SECOND SEASON UNDERWAY IN MONTREAL
NEW YORK – August 14, 2014 – Syfy announced today that Steven Weber (Wings, Murder in the First) and Matt Long (Mad Men, Jack and Bobby) have joined the cast of its mysterious viral thriller, Helix.
The second season of Helix finds the doctors of the Centers for Disease Control, still haunted by the Narvik outbreak and the events that took place in Arctic Biosystems, investigating a deadly outbreak of a new disease on a Windjammer cruise ship. Their investigation leads them to a mysterious island inhabited by a cult with the hope of creating a utopian society.
Filming for the series’ 13-episode second season is currently underway in Montreal, Quebec.
Weber, who joins the show as a recurring guest star, will portray Brother Michael, the charismatic leader of the cult. Magnetic and charming, he is brilliant speaker and sermonizer, but also a first-class geneticist.

ReplyDeleteNo mention of Balleseros? :(

ReplyDeleteThis sounds awesome! (but, where's that Swan hatch door with "quarantine" written on it?! oh, and bet we'll see "Others! Others!")
No Hiroyuki Sanada??? I hope he randomly shows himself later...
No Hiroshi or Balleseros?? Wow.

I hope so. Javier Grillo-Marxuach was an integral creative part on Lost and has every right to reuse all his storylines.
I know, I wouldn't have said it otherwise :)
ReplyDeletei really liked him. imagine i forgave him for killing the doc lady so brutally and now i hav a crush. i am not ashamed ^_^
ReplyDeleteNo offense. That´s the crux of the internet. In my weird head it sound like sarcasm, something like "yadda, yadda, yadda all is ripped-off."
ReplyDeleteI wasn't offended, I was just agreeing with the reasoning, because it was also where I was coming from.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that. Well, if "hearing" over the internet counts ;-)
ReplyDeleteHa! It sure does count! :D
ReplyDeletePhew happy Billy & Kyra was onboard. Saw the trailer and got worried. But no Hatake? Say it isn't so? I mean it's not like Extant will come back (pls tell me it's not coming back!?)
