Thank you Titania1000 for the submission.
Fannibals are in for a long wait - NBC's glorious, gruesome drama series Hannibal won't return to our screens until 2015.
Red Dragon is coming
Divided into "two chapters", the first half of season three will see Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) on the run, with Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) in pursuit, while the second portion will consist of elements from Thomas Harris's first Lecter novel, Red Dragon.
"It'll be our version of Red Dragon," says writer and executive producer Steve Lightfoot. "We know we're going to lock Hannibal up."
"I know that I'm instrumental in catching Hannibal," adds Raul Esparza, who plays Chilton. "I know that we're heading into Red Dragon territory - he's going to become my prisoner."
Bedelia is back
Gillian Anderson's icy Bedelia Du Maurier is expected to feature prominently in season three, with the first episode back depicting her and Hannibal's new life in Florence, under assumed identities.
Season 3 is (believe it or not) "more fun"
"It's always going to be Hannibal - it's going to be intense," says Lightfoot. "But I feel there's more opportunity for fun, for sure. The roof had come in so low and so intense at the end of season two, with all those people under it, and we've kind of broken that up.
Jack Crawford might not be a goner after all
Though many assumed that Laurence Fishburne's new gig on ABC sitcom Black-ish meant that Jack had met his end in 'Mizumono', Steve Lightfoot claims that the plan is for the actor to do both shows.
"In my experience, you normally find a way to make that stuff work," he says. "The great thing with Laurence is he loves the show, he's committed to it and he's desperate to be in it, so I don't think it'll be a problem."
