Now Warner Bros. TV is mulling a new take on Full House, with some of the original cast intact.
Leading the charge is John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) — who has an ownership stake in the show, which gives him good reason to champion the new series. Original executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin (who's writing the new version) are actively involved. Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) are on board, while Bob Saget (Danny) and Dave Coulier (Joey) are also involved in some way.

So a Girl Meets World type thing. I could be here for that.
ReplyDeleteI'll pass.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on facebook and I figured it was not true. If it does happen I'll totally watch it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this the third time in under a year that such a thing has been claimed as happening?
ReplyDeleteIf it's for real this time, then I'll probably at least give it a shot. It could be fun if instead of simply modernizing the values a bit, they try to make it meta by making fun of the retained 90s humor and values. Same tone, but subtle fourth wall breaks. I think that could be fun.
Did this same story not go around a few months ago and turn out to be a internet hoax? Probably same thing again.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely for real this time because John Stamos said something about it.
ReplyDeleteYes, but it's for real this time. John Stamos said something about it.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm passing.
ReplyDeleteI am in !!!
ReplyDeleteI dunno... Things can get blown out of proportion and twisted easily. How many times has a Chappelle Show revival been subtly "confirmed?"
ReplyDeleteRegardless of who this apparently came from, I'm gonna remain warily skeptical until there's a few more solid sources backing it up.
THR and Deadline are both reporting it (along with many other sources).
ReplyDeleteA revival of full house show! with the Olsen twins back? http://url.mn/8700513 mmmh...
ReplyDeletePlease, God, NO! This show was fine when I was ten and didn't know anything about TV. Trying to watch this show as an adult is painful. It was too sweet and way too family friendly for it's own good
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about this, if they went through with this I will definitely check it out and then decide.
ReplyDeletePlease dont.
ReplyDeleteI would rather see a Saved by the Bell revival (and I'm only 17) because I think it would be so much fun, a Full House revival would be just borin
