Really liked "The Children".
ReplyDeleteTo me, there's no contest. Ozymandias was the tragic payoff for the entire 5+ season storyline for Breaking Bad. The impact of that episode was devastating. I cannot say any more because spoilers.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that Felina was up there too but in my mind, it was just falling action -- a post-mortem on everything else.
Ozymandias.
ReplyDeleteOzymandias is as good as TV can get!
ReplyDeleteDespite my issues with Season 5 "Ozymandias" deserves the win.
ReplyDeleteWhat issues? Season 5 was as close to perfection as a show can get.
ReplyDeleteOzymandias. By an absolute country mile. Never have I seen an episode so brilliantly written to provoke pretty much every emotion in existence.
ReplyDeleteS5A had way too much meandering and fanservice. The plots were too big and focused more on being over-the-top than realistic or character-driven.
ReplyDeleteS5B was mostly fantastic but I thought the ending was far too happy and unsatisfying. Walt deserved worse than death.
