    HOLY SHIT! Seriously this'll be MILES ahead of the Season 1 finale! Hope we hear about Season 3 soon, hopefully SyFy will pull a Helix surprise renewal on us again and announce Season 3 before the finale airs.

    love it... it looks like we'll finally get an extended look about the background of the buried ship and from the promo some of the terraforming process(?)... I would love to get more background as well on the war that followed and mostly why did the Votan Collective even come here? I don't recall if that was ever answered, and things eventually came to a cease fire and the eventual blending of the races as it seems that the invasion/war wasn't that long ago..... very cool stuff and I hope that they announce a new season soon

    From appearances, it LOOKS like why everyone was after those metal things all along. There was a fully functional ship that will allow who every controls it to get into orbit again. They would have the ability to scrap the destroyed Arks, and quite possibly have correct Terraforming Tech onboard. The Terraforming that occurred at the end of the war was not what was not what the Votans had planned.
