Really enjoyed Season 1. Looking forward to s2
ReplyDeleteDid i read this right,'Broadcast Premiere in the U.S. will be made soon.' Does anyone know who will be picking this up since NBC dropped it last year..... I was so annoyed when NBC did that it was a good show.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was the only one who enjoyed season 1. I'm glad it's back.
ReplyDeleteShocked when I saw the bit about US premiere- thought that was a no-go. Wonder who....
ReplyDeleteI liked this show. It has it's flaws, but it is always fun to see sth more european than most of the shows I watch.
ReplyDeleteps.: Just finished watching "In Vlaamse velden" and loved it (could have been less rushed, in more episodes though). Anyone knows the series?
I think Netflix, they already got the rights for the first season.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Babar!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of it,is it on Netflix?
ReplyDeleteIf there is a 3rd season, I believe they will need to find a new showrunner. Ed Bernero is currently the new showrunner for State of Affairs on NBC.
ReplyDeleteCSI: Europe is back! As much as I laugh at this show - and the ridiculously awful and inaccurate portrayal of the ICC - it's really addictive and I'm glad it'll be back on my screen soon.
ReplyDeleteHmm, no idea about Netflix. I watched it on a brazilian network that usually airs several european series, good and bad (for instance Mafiosa, Der letzte Bulle, Les Revenants) and it was very good. It was in flemish (than God for the subtitles), german, french and english and is about WWI and the impact it has on a affluent belgian family. The title means "in flemish/flanders fields" and refers to the poem by John Mccrae, which is actually read on the show.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a refreshing view (aka not USA nor UK centered), spoken in the original languages (thank Lord for authenticity) but it should have had more episodes. The whole series comprises only 10 eps and some aspects of the storyline had to be rushed, which is a pitty, since the actors were really good and the script was well written (considering how concise it had to be to tell 4 years in 10 eps).
If you have the chance to check it out it is really worth it.
According to Wikipedia the air date for season 2 shows Q4 2014. meaning it can air anywhere from October to December
ReplyDeleteHey do you know anything bout The Strain renewal? reason why i'm asking is bc according to Global News the second season begins it's production in Mid-November and they claiming the show will soon be renewed.
ReplyDeleteTo all viewers across the pond, if you like European style crime drama's check out an Italian Naples crime drama called Gomorrah (Gomorra) and a French crime drama called Barquo. Believe me you will not be disappointed. They are subtitled, but hey you get used to it, enjoy.
ReplyDeleteahhhhh I'm so annoyed I've been waiting for ages and I still have to wait because we don't have a date for the us
ReplyDeleteI've heard it will start on 8th September on sony, is that for the US?
ReplyDeleteWow,after a month i just got this notification! Crossing Lines is still listed under the NBC programs.
ReplyDeleteDisqus does that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYes, but same is with other cancelled shows.
And why is it that theUS is not even scheduled????
