Thanks to MurderMondays for the heads up.
Text from Magazine Scan: How's this for an extreme makeover? Last May, S.H.I.E.L.D. was dismantled after being infiltrated by the terrorist organisation Hydra. Now it's time for Director Couson (Clark Gregg, above) and his team to rebuild and save the day, with a little help from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the former director. Their new headquarters, buried safely underground, in a reconverted SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) bunker from WWII, will be "authentically vintage", says executive producer Jeff Bell. "Of course, Fury has tricked it out with a few updates and a handful of cool toys."
Hell yeah, I am so excited to see Director Coulson in season 2. He already looks like a badass. Love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see Director Coulson. Hope to see a first look/pic of the rest of the team :)
ReplyDeleteI hope this base don't get compromised like the last one........how the team keep it secret and take down hydra will be a big question
ReplyDeleteStill no Season 2 Trailer come on ABC Bad Marketing show now
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean we won't have the plane anymore?
ReplyDeleteYes! And he looks exhausted.
ReplyDeleteNah, the plane was spotted in a set photo Ming posted a few weeks ago so we'll definitely still have it.
ReplyDeleteSo we're gonna have both. That's the best, I think. I really like the plane but it's also better if they have real headquarters.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Authentically vintage - how perfect for Director Coulson! Love this show and how consistent it is - cannot wait for this to be back on!
ReplyDeleteYup, you're right.
ReplyDeleteA tricked-out bunker? Nice.
ReplyDeleteLess than a month before the premier. You'd think they would have given us SOMETHING to sink our teeth into by now. All the secrecy is very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThe marketing for this season has been really bad. Mostly because there is none.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like the kind of show where, as soon as it's not the major hit the network expected, they pretty much wash their hands clean of it. I appreciate the timeslot change and the much better schedule the show will have this year, but ABC isn't bothering with promotion at all. Which is a shame, shows can still grow in their second season - and if there was EVER such a show, it would be this one, given that the MCU has ongoing potential to create interest in AoS.
ReplyDeleteWith less than a month to go, I really think we deserve more than a picture of Coulson behind a desk. Where's my promo, ABC?!
ReplyDeleteThe new "vintage" base with the cool toys sounds fun, though. Since it used ti be an SSR facility, I can already see the potential for AoS and Agent Carter to give little nods to each other.
I'm sure they'll still need to travel all over the world, so they can't retire the plane any time soon, but it's nice that they'll have somewhere more cozy to stay between trips.
ReplyDeleteThey couldn't even be bothered to get S1 on Netflix before S2 starts. Considering Disney/Marvel's relationship with Netflix that is pretty damn sad.
ReplyDeletethey have 3 weeks to show a teaser because they would wnat new fans to watch the show.......someone in marketing department must really hate AOS
ReplyDeleteYep, starting to feel like S2 is set to fail before it even starts.
ReplyDeleteDirector Coulson ... loving it.
