Henry Simmons (NYPD Blue) will recur in the second season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as agent Alphonso “Mac” Mackenzie, a mechanic in his early 30s, TVLine has learned exclusively.

I thought Simmons was the character's last name for a second and decided he might be Jemma's dad.

He was part of Secret War and showed up in Frontline during Civil War iirc. Excited to see what they do with him.
Loved him on Shark! Can't wait to see him in AoS
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit worried that this cast is getting too large. We have 6 series regulars plus Trip, Raina, Koenig, Hill and probably Mike returning (am I forgetting anyone?), plus so many new characters: Isabelle Hartley, Lance Hunter, Daniel Whitehall/Kraken, Bobby Morse/Mockingbird, Skye's dad and now Alphonso Mackenzie. And since all of these new characters except Mockingbird have already been cast, I assume we'll see them fairly early in the season. Show, don't be all over the place!
