  4. He was. People predicted it right to who he was going to end up being. I'm pretty sure that's who they guessed he was.

  5. I'm cool with all these new characters in each episode as long as they don't try to over power the human element of the show which is the main cast we watch the show for in the first place. If most of these characters, heroes and villains are going to be just a one per episode kind of deal per character maybe two or three episodes for theme reference then I am excited. I just don't want them to turn this into the all superhero vs villain season and forget that the show is called "Agents Of Shield" and focus all on those with powers or abilities. But I am hopeful the writers and creators will have a good balance.

  6. You might be the first person I've heard be like, 'Yeah yeah, the superpowers and actual canon characters are all well and good, but get me some more of that ordinary human melodrama.'

    ;) Teasing.

  7. Considering Skye most likely has some powers because she's half-alien, you might not fully get your wish. LOL.

  8. LOL its cool :) No I love the super powers and I am excited about the additional characters we get to see coming up. I just also enjoy the human element a lot to especially after finishing season one. I like my Coulson, FitzSimmons, May, Skye and all the others stories. Plus add on the fact that Skye herself is half alien and will probably have powers sooner or later given her dad's alien status I feel if not balanced right it can become the everyone has superpowers and super healing abilities etc show.

  9. I hope they're careful about the insertion of all of these new characters and that some of them are one-offs rather than recurring. This is what, the 8th new character this season? We have a 6-person cast plus the likes of Triplett, Hill, Raina and Mike returning... they need to keep the focus on the main characters and use the supporting ones sparingly. Otherwise it'll be an overstuffed mess like the second half of Arrow's Season 2.

  10. I'm pretty open to Skye having powers what with her dads alien status. In fact I'm kind of excited to see what she might get for powers. I just don't want them to make everyone have powers on the team. Or use the blue alien good to revive everyone everytime they die and get injured. Sometimes the injured need to heal and be vulnerable instead of magically cured.

  11. No comic book characters = complain
More comic book characters = complain

    This show can't win.

Also you are completely offbase saying the 2nd half of Arror was an overstuffed mess.

  12. When you reply to me, address things *I* have said, not the words of other fans you've decided to project onto me.

I don't care about the inclusion of comic book characters, especially being that I am not a comic reader. I care about making sure that the show's main characters get their dues and supporting/guest characters are used in an appropriate capacity. As noted above, there are a LOT of new characters coming right off the bat, and with 6 main characters plus an existing recurring cast, the canvas could easily get overcrowded. That's my concern - and it's merely a concern, it's not like you heard me yelling "OMG THIS SEASON WILL SUCK!".

Perhaps you liked the second half of Arrow S2, more power to you then, but I don't enjoy having episodes spent on guest stars like Huntress while half the main cast lacks a concrete storyline.
