Cue the butthurt Batman fans comments on how Gotham will be the worst show to ever air in the history of TV. Looking forward to Daredevil the most, Gotham a close second
ReplyDeleteGotham and The Flash, I can't choose between the two. The promotional trailers and posters so far, have been awesome to me :)
ReplyDeleteAgent Carter because Peggy is one of my favourite characters in the MCU and Hayley does an amazing job so I can't wait to see the series especially as the pilot is being written by the guys who did The Winter Soldier.
ReplyDeleteDaredevil because I'm interested in seeing Marvel work with Netflix, I'm also excited to see the rest of the Netflix series but they are a while off.
Where is Constantine?
ReplyDeleteGOTHAM and The Flash
ReplyDeleteDespite not being comic books fan I plan to check iZombie.
ReplyDeleteProbably not included because there is nothing to look forward to, all the fans have seen the leaked pilot already. Nevertheless, for the sake of consistency it should be there.
ReplyDeleteOther: Constantine
ReplyDeleteThe flash has been leaked too but that's still up there.
ReplyDeleteI'm really worried Gotham will turn up to be a complete mess, too busy winking at its audience "Hey, he's gonna be Batman! Get it?!" to develop any kind of interesting story.
ReplyDeleteConstantine ! And Gotham.
ReplyDeleteThe Punisher- but since that is only rumors, and several years away if ever:
ReplyDelete1. Robert Kirkman's Outcast
2. The Flash
3. The Defenders
4. Constantine
5. Gotham
6. Daredevil
7. Luke Cage
8. Agent Carter
9. Extinction Parade
T10. Iron Fist
T10. iZombie
T10. Priest
I'm a huge Batman fan and I'm very excited for Gotham and I think it could be a very good show. I'm really looking forward to Daredevil as well, the most appealing Marvel character to me.
ReplyDeleteI personally hope they take somewhere down the lines of Born Again and not early days Daredevil.
Shame we can't pick all of them, the more Marvel and DC shows on TV or Netflix the better! Is there an ETA on the Netflix shows yet?
ReplyDeleteGotham and The Flash.
ReplyDeleteI think Gotham has the potential to be awesome, a noir-ish tale of how a city is consumed by corruption and moral decay. I already like the visual style it seems to have and the fact that it's a short season (16 eps) which tends to mean a tighter, more focused arc. I just hope they're able to maintain the focus on Gordon and the city itself which is the story they apparently want to tell. I've heard that the addition of so many Batman villains, despite the fact that they're so young at this point in the story, and young Bruce himself is in part to placate Batman fans who complained about the premise and draw in the general audience with characters it recognizes. I'm just not sure there's much story potential with the likes of a 12 or so year old Poison Ivy, so I hope they don't compromise their own artistic vision to try to cram in as many Batman characters and references as possible.
As for The Flash, well, since it's from the creators of Arrow, I just hope they learn from the mistakes of the latter half of S2 - especially the prioritization of guest characters from the comics over the main cast. Although I'm not sure the Flash EP's were as involved with S2 of Arrow once they started developing their own show.
No actual date yet. But it is generally believed, that Daredevil & Jessica Jones will be out in 2015. Probably 6-9 months apart. Then Iron Fist, Luke Cage, & The Defenders to follow, about the same spacing.
ReplyDelete1. The Flash
ReplyDelete2. Gotham
3. iZombie
4. Constantine (I'm still going to watch it but I'm disappointed with the change of his sexual orientation)
Huge Batman here since I was a child and I can't wait for Gotham. I think the people who are butthurt aren't really Batman fans. They are fans of the movies. If they were fans of the comics they would know the villains have some pretty interesting origin storties and the GPD have its own comic. Also they wouldn't make stupid complaints like how the Penguin doesn't look like Danny DeVito.
ReplyDeleteNone of the above, just Constantine for me.
ReplyDeleteNone.
ReplyDeleteI think it is:
ReplyDelete1. The Flash
2. Gotham
3. Agent Carter
4. Constantine
5. Daredevil
I'll give all the others a chance, but I'm not really looking forward for them
Gotham is at the bottom of my list, tbh. It feels like a wink-wink, nudge-nudge cashgrab that will make Smallville look amazing in comparison. The original premise was pretty interesting but the more info that comes out the more it seems like Batman*.
ReplyDelete*Batman not included. Terms and Conditions may apply.
Honestly i'm not into any of these but Gotham i am willing to at least check out a few episodes. I was never a comic book fan nor the movies and now all these shows coming out.
ReplyDeleteLoved *Batman not included. Terms and Conditions may apply!
Yeah, if someone is really invested in Batman and his mythology, then surely they should find Gordon and the city of Gotham compelling enough in their own right to carry a series. The people who write complaints like "You can't have a Batman show without Batman" don't even understand what Gotham is, and probably only watched the movies as you said.
ReplyDeleteConstantine, Gotham and Daredevil. I've refrained from watching any leaked pilots so I'm really excited. Maybe I'll check out The Flash, I've been hearing good things about it.
ReplyDeleteIZombie is the only one I'll watch
ReplyDeleteiZombie and Agent Carter.
ReplyDeletePretty much all of them except for Gotham. Screw prequels.
ReplyDeleteThe people who watch the pilot said the show was very interesting and that it can't exist without Batman. You obviously have never read the comics because the city and the GPD is interesting enough to carry the show.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Gotham, and as silly sounding the name I Zombie that another one I'm looking forward to checking out!
ReplyDeleteI voted on two because of the limitation of the poll. But my expectations are as follow:
ReplyDeleteThe Flash, Agent Carter, Gotham, Daredevil.
All of which i would follow. As far as the others i don't know much about them.
Iron Fist has always been my favourite comic book character so i'm really excited for both that show and the Luke Cage one.
ReplyDeleteBut i'm also really hyped for the new Flash series, it looks amazing.
I'm actually a long-time comic reader. Like I said, the premise of a rookie Gordan trying to fight the corruption of Gotham is interesting. Everything else about the show, especially all the younger villains and young Bruce, feels forced.
ReplyDeleteIf they had kept it limited to the more grounded, older villains(like the mob or maybe even early Mr. Freeze), at least for the first season, I might have given it a shot. Shoving so much in there at once seems desperate.
I read the leaked script(hated it) and the few reviews I read seem to support what I am saying.
Where is Constantine??? I already saw Gotham, Constantine and the Flash and loved all three.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny because all the reviews I read were very positive and said they hope the show keeps focusing on Gordon (like the pilot does) instead of trying to make the show about Batman. Most of them said that after seeing the pilot they got how the show could work without Batman.

Granted, not the most die-hard comic fans there but I have the same issues as a fan of the comics.
>Also after reading some of your other comments you seem to strongly dislike anything DC.
Where are you getting that from? I enjoy Arrow a lot, LOVED the Flash pilot, thought the Constantine pilot was okay(but had more than a couple problems), etc.
Comics-wise I enjoy DC more than Marvel.
My only real issues with DC lie with the movies and how they execute them.
Gotham, The Flash, and Agent Carter
ReplyDeletel'm looking forward to The Flash. will check out Agent Carter and Gotham. but the trailers for Gotham have me concerned that I'll hate it.
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited to see Daredevil, Agent Carter and The Flash. I will check out Gotham, at least for 2 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you.
ReplyDeleteAgent Carter (if they brought Howard) and Gotham.
ReplyDeleteYes Howard Stark will be in Agent Carter.
ReplyDeletethey said in Comic Con they would love to have Dominic in it, but its not definite. :(
ReplyDeleteLook on the Agent Carter page on here, there is a post called "Agent Carter - Hayley Atwell leaks that Dominic Cooper is working on the show." It was posted June 6th.
