  1. Mostly no, I watch most of my shows weekly. But it really depends on the show. There are always exceptions.

  2. It definitely depends on the show itself. Some shows are deserving of weekly watch, some works better at one go IMO.

  3. I just watch each episode as it airs. Sometimes I get behind and watch a few episodes, but it's never really a full season.

That said, as I'm watching Lost at the moment, I do like it that I don't have to wait one week to watch the next episode.

  4. No, I'd rather spread the enjoyment out over a long period of time than watch the whole thing in a marathon (apart from the fact that I can't wait with the shows I really like, anyway). Besides, with great shows, every episode is a lot to take in, so I'd rather have a bit of time to absord and think about it before watching the next one.

  5. No, I don´t have the patience to wait. :-) I watch each episode as it airs. I like going to Spoiler Tv the afterwards and discus my favorites and I can´t do that if I wait.
Sometimes I´ll get behind on some shows and then watch 3 or 4 in a row. I just did that with Halt and Catch Fire. It feels more like watching a long movie. :-)

  6. If it's there to watch all in one go (eg Netflix) then I'll watch in one go. But weekly shows I'll watch weekly.

  7. It depends. I watch most of the American shows when they air, but I prefer to binge watch British series and shows from other countries.

  8. I watch current shows as soon as I can. I don't really like bingewatching a show (except for OITNB), even when it comes to watching old shows, I prefer to pick two shows and watch their episodes alternatively.

  9. I watch most shows weekly. I can't wait for the season to be over because, since I watch a lot of shows, then at the end it's difficult for me to catch up.

  10. Depends on the show, the shows I love the most I can´t wait to see, so I watch them weekly. The ones that I like less I wait until there is a few of episodes to watch.

  11. For a good show, what I usually do is watch it as it airs each week and then, I rewatch everything again later after the season finishes.

  12. It depends not on the show, but what is immediately. I love binging to catch up, but then I watch week by week for current episodes. I've tried waiting, but if I don't watch it right away it's usually because I don't care that much about the show, so the episodes get erased.

  13. I prefer to watch one episode a week, for current series. The closest i come to binge watching is, rewatching a season of one of my favorite shows, a month or so before the next season starts. Even then, i'll only watch an episode, every other day or so. I do the same with shows i'm trying to catchup on.

Nothing will make me hate a show i love faster, then too much of it. I guess it doesn't help, that i have over 70 shows on my yearly watchlist (including the new fall and next year's mid-season shows). I did make an exception with 24, as i watched the first 4 seasons in a month, before Live Another Day started. But that was difficult, i had to push myself to do it.

  14. Depends on the show and if i really enjoy it. Shows such as Game Of Thrones and Person of Interest which i love i watch live ,if i start watching a show and don't really get into it (if the show doesn't interest me enough) i usually either watch the whole season once its ended or just drop it completely.

  15. I've voted for depends on the series but the truth is that more and more I am realizing that I like the shows much more when binge watched. There is something about getting into the "mood"/spirit of the show that just makes me enjoy them better. I don't necessarily need to wait for the entire season but I prefer to have a few episodes to watch. For instance, Orphan Black I watched in halves this year (so twice, plus the premiere which I watched as standalone), and I love that show, so it's not necessarily about favorites. This being said, there are a few shows I just can't wait to binge watch (The 100, Arrow, Scandal, Revenge, OUAT) but I am not sure if part of that isn't simply because I come too much to sites like these and I become afraid of spoilers/not being able to join discussions. I am not sure if I wouldn't like them even more if binge watched. Comedies or shows that move slower(Ressurection, The Blacklist, The Americans) I definitely enjoy more when binge-watched. The only absolute exception for me is TWD which is really a weekly event and not an actually TV show, so I actually like it more when watched week to week.

  16. I usually only wait on newer shows. And it depends. I have found if I wait and marathon, I might end up with overload and hate the show. I really think it's better to take things in smaller doses.

  17. Depends on the show, usually if I wait for the season to end before watching the episodes it's because i've started to lose interest in the show so I binge watch the season when it finishes then decide if i'll be watching next season or not.

  18. I'll binge when I'm just getting around to "discovering" a show or decide to check one out that I'd passed on before - I just did that with "Scandal" this weekend. Honestly, I enjoyed the first 15 or so episodes, but now that I'm in S3, I'm liking it a lot less - it's been interesting to watch how far the show moved from political thriller into a soapy/conspiracy laded mess where they try to raise the stakes to the ridiculous - aka Olivia with bomber client. Frankly, this has always been my issue with ABC serials - once one gets hot, they keep raising the stakes FAST, which is why many burn-out so quickly. I'll continue watching and probably give it a look-see in fall.

  19. Definitely depends on the show. Shows I really like, I watch weekly. Sometimes, I like a show, but keep forgetting to watch it weekly, so I wait to marathon those non-top-tier shows.

  20. I prefer to watch as it airs or online later in the week. I watch A LOT of shows and to marathon them all after their seasons are done would be demanding. And I don't have many options to watch them.

Also, for my favorite shows, it would be painful to have to wait that long. lol (Ex. Dominion and in the past Supernatural. I count down the days and nights until the next episode.)

  21. Depends on the show. Orphan Black I watch as soon as the episodes are available. Vikings I recorded and watched two or three episodes at a time. Sleepy Hollow I watched the first six episodes, then decided to wait until it was on DVD - mainly because the network it airs on here kept moving it around the schedule, and having whatever was on before it run overtime. Revolution I recorded and watched the first few episodes when they aired here, then bought the DVD and marathoned the whole first season; the second season hasn't aired here, and given the cancellation I doubt it ever will, so I will wait for the DVDs. Doctor Who I always watch as soon as the episodes are available. The Returned (Les Revanants) I recorded, watched the first couple of episodes in one sitting, then the rest of the season as they aired.

  22. I watch weekly until or unless I lose interest, in which case I binge during "off seasons" for closure.

  23. I guess it really depends on the show... my preference is to watch as they air, but there are way too many shows/not enough time to do that

  24. It definitely depends on the show for me. If I had tried to watch The Blacklist weekly the entire season, I would probably have dropped it by the winter hiatus. It is much, much too slow in revealing its main mytharc and that frustrates me. However when I marathoned it over the hiatus, I found myself much renewed and looking forward to it again. On the other hand, I just got done marathoning several episodes of The Night Shift to catch up and it made me leery of watching more episodes. I dislike the main character and by marathoning, it felt like his reckless idiocy was shoved into my face for hours. That's a show I definitely like better in small doses so I can get away from the character for awhile. I've found that if there are pacing issues, I am better off marathoning. If it's character issues, I need the week break in between.

  25. Depends on the show. Typically I watch it every week especially during the fall/winter tv season when there is new episodes most weeks. But I find I have been downloading all the Teen Wolf episodes this season airing now and plan to watch them all at the end of the summer when the season is done instead of waiting a week for each new episode to air. Just to change it up for a change.

  26. Some shows I can/do wait and watch in bulk BUT the biggest problem is a lot of the more popular shows I watch get spoiled if I don't watch them soon after airing (and while I don't mind small spoilers I do like being surprised by the bigger aspects of an episode)

  27. I would have said that there was no way I could wait to binge-watch any weekly show until this last season when I binged on AOS the weekend after the finale. I carefully saved each and every episode and didn't worry about spoilers since even if I read them, I had mostly forgotten them by the time I was able to watch. The good thing about watching AOS this way was I didn't have to suffer through the episodes that weren't as good as the others, I knew there was another waiting on my DVR and I had all the time in the world to savor the great ones. I haven't decided if I'm going to do it again this next season or not because it was pretty hard to do and I might not have the will-power now that I have tasted the nectar, I guess time will tell. Now, ask me to do this with my other shows and I will tell you absolutely not, I don't have that much will-power.

  28. My experience is similar to what others have said. It depends. I can think of two shows in particular that I originally had no interest in, Breaking Bad and Mad Men, where at some point decided to check them out and really got into them. I rented DVDs of the seasons I missed and binge-watched to catch up, then continued on weekly. I actually like that, because watching nightly instead of weekly helps me get a really good feeling of where the show is going, and the slower pace later on is a pleasant change

  29. I love watching new shows as soon as possible. However, I prefer binge watching.

  30. Depends on the show. There are certain shows that I try to keep up with on a weekly basis. I always seem to fall behind on a few shows and end up just waiting til the summer and binge-watching the season. I rarely watch shows during their first season so I often will binge watch them over the summer because it's easier for me to get into the show watching it back to back.
