Has to be the Garrett and Ward as Hydra reveals, that entire episode was so tense and having seen Winter Soldier before hand I just knew someone on the immediate team had to be Hydra. So I kept watching and waiting and the episode went on and on and still everything seemed ok and them wham bam damn it Ward!
Ward revealed as an Hydra agent practically saved SHIELD for me; I was very uninterested on the show up until that point as I found it generic, predictable and boring, but after episode 17 everything starts coming together and the show actually becomes likeable and entertaining, so I have to give it to that
When I saw all the options, that's when I realized how many crazy things happened during this one season ! I voted for Ward being Hydra, Skye being an 084 and Coulson discovering where his "cure" came from and that he was behind it in the first place. But it was difficult to choose ^^
Best plot twists for me: Ward is HYRDRA, Garrett is Clairvoyant and part of HYDRA, May reporting on Coulson to someone (later revealed to be Fury), and Coulson finds out alien liquid saved him. Best twist, and one of the best episodes, was the HYDRA reveals.
Top three (in no particular order): a) Ward killing Hand and being revealed as Hydra, even though I felt like they spoiled a surprise a little when they started hinting that not everyone on the team can be trusted; it was a great twist, nevertheless. b) Coulson being revealed as the man behind TAHITI. c) May reporting on Coulson. Actually... no, scratch that. I liked the moment when it’s revealed that she was the one to assemble the team much more.
Not really a plot twist or reveal but one of the scenes I enjoyed most out of the season in the finale when Fury turns up to help Coulson and they face down Garrett together.

ReplyDeleteObvisiouly the Ward's revelation. This one make Agents of Shield one of the biggest surprises of the season.

Garrett and Ward Hydra reveals were the most shocking for me. Ward more so of course.
